Yeah it was incredible, it was Tyson Spinks all over again except this time the little guy was laying down the ass kicking.
It will go down in history as one of greatest wins ever alongside Hagler Hearns and Luis Schmeling.
I can't remember an undisputed champ and p4p star being destroyed so emphatically by a man basically coming up two division from a year before.
Brutal, just brutal.

It was brutal.
Pac has a devastating arsenal now... I thought the straight left right down the middle of an attacking Hatton would have been the weapon.. But his Jab was nailing hatton every time.. His right hook is dangerous for any righty, especially being able to time it well to avoid a left hook...
And that left hook was absolutely one of the most brutal i've ever seen.. 2 rounds in against a 140 king, and his head nearly kinked completely off his neck..
The fact of the speed, and the power it connects at is just amazing... What a fighter to watch at higher weights...

I don't know that I would agree that he did "okay" at 147. First time he ventures out of 140, he gets wobbled and barely escapes against the light-hitting Luis Collazo. Then gets KO'ed by Mayweather. Had he ever met an elite fighter at 147 (Cotto, Margarito, Clottey), he would have been annihilated. At 140, he beat Kostya Tszyu in a fight I've never liked due to Hatton's mauling style, and the fact he got away with things he would've never gotten away with anywhere else. Hatton definitely deserved his p4p status imo. he defeated Kosta Tszyu and became the undisputed king of light welter. Obviously he drops out now but you can't say he didn't deserve to be there any more than you can say Rafael Marquez never deserved to be there becuase he's lost his last two, or Diego Coralles.
