Hatton Boxing: Matthew Hatton vs. Lovemore N'dou For IBO Title Nov 13

On Friday, November 13, Matthew Hatton will challenge for the IBO Welterweight title against seasoned South African Lovemore N'Dou at Stoke's Fenton Manor.

Matthew will top the show being promoted by older brother and boxing star Ricky 'Hitman' Hatton MBE.

Ricky's company, Hatton Promotions, are staging the first ever World Championship to be held in Stoke and a full house is expected.

A spokesman for Stoke's Impact Boxing said earlier, "Stoke finally has a football team in the premier league, and now we have a premier boxing promoter staging a major TV show as well.

"With the talent that the Hattons will be bringing together with some of our own boxers, demand for tickets is definitely going to be high".

When asked why Stoke, Ricky responded, "When I boxed Mayweather in Vegas, there seemed to be hundreds of people from this area there. They were a lively bunch and kept asking me when would I box

It's hard not to agree with you on this one, N'dou has mixed in better company with more success, but never underestimate the random factor of boxing and the hometown fans...

That didn't last very long as a potential fight.....N'dou just pulled out with a cut over his eye suffered in sparring.

Oh well Hatton's career can go on for a bit longer. :)
