Margarito finally not to fight undercard of Pacman
Antonio Margarito Update | Boxing News
What a great news, I can now pay, if I can, to see the fight now that Hands of plaster is off. It is also nice to see that some organizations are against him fighting till he gets at least another hearing (which doesn't mean they'll let him fight again still)
Re: Margarito finally not to fight undercard of Pacman
Meh, it's not like I was willing to pay for this pac-clottey fight.
The only fight that's worth 60 bucks is probably the Mosley-Floyd fight. Seriously does anyone think that Clottey has a chance?
Re: Margarito finally not to fight undercard of Pacman
I hope that guy never makes another significant payday in the boxing business. But unfortunately, boxing is a slimey business that has a history of accomodating greaseballs, so I'm sure he'll be headlining big shows in no time.
Re: Margarito finally not to fight undercard of Pacman
Good. He does not deserve to get his boxing license back, not this soon anyway.

I actually think its a tough, respectable fight for Pac, and I predict that he will have more trouble with Clottey than Mayweather will with Mosley.
Not saying I think Clottey will win, because I think pac is just on another level in terms of speed and technique right now, but Clottey is no stepping stone for anyone. He's a rough, tough son of a bitch thats damn near impossible to look good against. I wouldn't be surprised if he pulled something out of his ass and beat Pac. I don't expect him to, however.

LOL, nothing would make me happier than seeing that drugged up little bastard catch a whuppin' from Clottey.
Re: Margarito finally not to fight undercard of Pacman
I for one am very happy that Margarito is not going to fight. If he isn't banned then he needs boycotted. The worst kind of cheating has to have a lifetime ban. I wasn't going to pay for the bout because I didn't want to support Margarito. But now I have no qualms. This is very good news for boxing. Boxing must show protection for the boxers is not too be compromised.
Re: Margarito finally not to fight undercard of Pacman
I found this interesting article on Antonio Margarito:
Boxing Fans Deserve To Know The Truth
Re: Margarito finally not to fight undercard of Pacman
I am still a Margarito fan and I find him to be an exciting determined fighter.
We know for a fact he will be watched closer than any fighter now before a fight.
That story didn't have any facts or substance in it. It had a statement, "There are too many gyms overflowing with talented fighters waiting to prove themselves worthy of a shot at changing their lives forever."
And I simply disagree. Why do I see all these fat fucking slugs on ESPN fights that aren't in shape if there are thousands of people just waiting for a chance? I really think boxing is lacking the talent draw that it did in the past, esp. in the U.S. The HW class is where this shows up the most (and also the class USA had reigned for a century.)
Re: Margarito finally not to fight undercard of Pacman
Arum is definitely one of the biggest scumbags in boxing; little wonder he's trying for this and wants to match MP against him later this year. It's sad to see MP under the rule of such a vile human who seems to get scummier as he gets older.
