I for one am very happy that Margarito is not going to fight. If he isn't banned then he needs boycotted. The worst kind of cheating has to have a lifetime ban. I wasn't going to pay for the bout because I didn't want to support Margarito. But now I have no qualms. This is very good news for boxing. Boxing must show protection for the boxers is not too be compromised.

I found this interesting article on Antonio Margarito:
Boxing Fans Deserve To Know The Truth

I am still a Margarito fan and I find him to be an exciting determined fighter.
We know for a fact he will be watched closer than any fighter now before a fight.
That story didn't have any facts or substance in it. It had a statement, "There are too many gyms overflowing with talented fighters waiting to prove themselves worthy of a shot at changing their lives forever."
And I simply disagree. Why do I see all these fat fucking slugs on ESPN fights that aren't in shape if there are thousands of people just waiting for a chance? I really think boxing is lacking the talent draw that it did in the past, esp. in the U.S. The HW class is where this shows up the most (and also the class USA had reigned for a century.)

Arum is definitely one of the biggest scumbags in boxing; little wonder he's trying for this and wants to match MP against him later this year. It's sad to see MP under the rule of such a vile human who seems to get scummier as he gets older.
