Question being, if he was caught fighting dishonestly, shouldn't the outcome of the bout in question be changed to a no contest?

He wasn't caught in his fight against Cotto. It was in the Mosley fight. (-For the record, I think he used them in the Cotto fight cuz there was blood on them and you know he wasn't using them to train cuz that wouldn't make sense.)Quote:

The way I see it if a fighter has lets say 34 wins and gets caught cheating in win 34 than yeah win 34 goes to a no-contest. But that's it. In order for the other 33 to get change to no contests I need to see 33 different proofs of him cheating. I ain't assuming shiit.

Agreed....Who is to say these past wins were not legit....What about fights where he had his gloves off and was wearing nothing but hand wraps while still in the ring after the fights during interviews etc where it is obvious nothing is wrong with the wraps?....Then what about the guys that lost to him fair? What are the ratings to be adjusted somehow because they dropped spots or missed title opps because of the loss? Should they be given new rankings based on then?....Quote:

I do agree that there are too many things you can't prove so therefore there is nothing that can be done. But even if he did take his gloves off and you could see his handwraps that isn't going to prove anything. The plaster was in his handwraps not on top of them. You'd have to feel for it. Remember, they weren't no slouch with this way of cheating. The Commission even inspected one handwrap and it got approved. Richardson felt around for anything suspicious, felt something hard, and that is why he caught it. I've seen how handwraps are inpected and most of the time they just rub the wraps and pat your knuckles. The eye test would never catch plaster inside your handwraps.Quote:

Have you ever seen handwraps that have had substance in them like plaster etc...After 8, 10, 12 rds they don't look like regular handwraps...Contrary to popular belief the plaster does not get hard....The constriction of the gloves and sweat from the hands doesw not allow it to form hard...It is the weight of the wraps that cause the damage...Like rolled up coins the your hand....
You can tell by looking that something is wrong...The wraps sag and are mis formed on the hand
How would you see wraps that had plaster in them after 8, 10, 12 rounds??? Richardson did say when he felt on the handwraps that they were hard. So they must've harden some already. By the way, how are you getting all this information about plaster in handwraps not getting hard, it feeling like a roll of coins, its the weight that does it, how they look after many rounds, etc.?
