Why does the majority think Froch is inferior to Abraham and Kessler?
It seems the majority sentiment has always been that Froch will lose handily to both Kessler and Abraham.
I guess this is because he was behind against Taylor until the knockout and becuase he looked slow and clumsly against Dirrell.
But to be fair to him he looked much better in his last fight than both Kessler and Abraham did in theirs.
The Froch Dirrell fight was one you could argue went either way, but you'd struggle to find a single round before the 10th that you could give Abraham against the same fighter.
As for Kessler, he lost damn near every minute of every round against Andre Ward, it was Lazy Calzahghe, Coralles Mayweather style royal pummeling of a so called champion fighter, he was humiliated.
Yet the belief persists that Froch is worse than both of them, and will likely get knocked out both times.
I'm going out on a limb here but I think he can beat both of them, and book his way into the final against Andre Ward, with the winner being probably p4p number 1 allowing for the retirement of the winner of any future Floyd Manny showdown.
It could happen guys, imagine that, Carl Froch p4p number 1.....:cool:

Not me I have him favourite in both, these sort of fighters won't beat Froch imo.

He seems to always just barely win. This gives the impression that he is beatable. However, you have to give him credit, he does always win.

He is a decent fighter that is all, looking at his fight with Abraham I dont see anyway in which he can win the only thing that seems to bother him is speed and Froch doesnt have that equally Kessler has the same issues with speed so he should be able to do on over Froch but I see it a defo win for Abraham!

Any fighter in this tournament that can stand up to Abraham's power will probably beat him, because he is only going for the KO, he doesn't care if he wins any rounds as long as he lands those shots to finish. As of now I am 50/50 on Abraham/Froch, I honestly don't hold either in a higher regard than the other at this point. Froch does have a great chin, Abraham does have great power so there it is it's a battle of chin vs. power to me. I don't think this will be as exciting as most are making it out to be, Abraham is gonna sit in his turtle shell as Froch tries everything he can to try and pull the guard down.
And now for more speculation............
As for Kessler, I feel Kessler is a far superior boxer over Froch and I would still pick him over Froch based on his fundamentals and foot movement. I think Ward would absolutely blow out Froch as well. But that's all just a guess.

Froch, skills are lacking on many levels. He is a fairly ordinary fighter but finds ways to win and should be applauded for that. His balance is horrible due to his foot placement, his handspeed is ordinary and his technique is lacking. He can punch which is what keeps fighters off him but he's just not that impressive. I would favor him over Abraham but not Kessler. Kessler will box his trunks off IMHO.

Froch is clumsy,flat footed and is lacking in the boxing skills department. But he makes up for it with strength, stamina, and sheer dogidness. He looks like a strong fighter. Like one of them guys u underate until u get it the ring with him. He definately has something about him. I give him a shot vs Abraham or kessler. P4p number 1 not quite bilbo

Its because he was in a weak era and didn't take enough risks, and he contradicted himself constantly, like for example retiring on the RJJ win.
As for the others.
Ricky Hatton = Got no problem with him what so ever, he tried his best and lost to the two best P4P fighters of the modern era, no shame in that.
Amir Khan = I think he's over hyped and he sometimes, does talk out his ass. I just want to see him fight better fighters, i wouldn't say i dislike him i'd say more frustrated with him, but Paulie Malignaggi is an ok start.
David Haye = I think he's come along way, and i do like him as a fighter. And i hope he beats both Klitschko's, i for certain root for David Haye.

Any fighter with a poor defense will get all the smartass fans constantly predicting his demise.
If Kesser don't KO Froch then Arthur will. Fact.

I think it's because his weaknesses are much more obvious than the other fighters. I also think, perhaps because of his recent level of competition, that those weaknesses have been exposed by the type of fighters he has been in the ring with. He's a good offensive fighter with legitimate power, poor defense, and a very good chin. Nothing more or less IMO. He's one of the best fighters in a very good division and I think he should be commended for wanting to fight the best opponents available to him. I think Kessler will beat him, beause he's a shorter puncher and he'll be able to keep Froch on the outside. Abraham vs. Froch is a closer fight, I think because of Abraham's inactivity and his reliance on blocking punches that Froch has a very good chance of beating and stopping him. Dirrell would beat him again, Ward would outbox him, and Bute would annihilate him, but he's a very good fighter.
He still lost to Dirrell though :).
It has nothing to do with his nationality and I would urge anyone who thinks that is the case to off themselves before they have the opportunity to produce offspring. Myself, the gene pool, and all of humanity will be greatful for your sacrifice.

On the other hand a lot of people would say that the Brits tend to get overhyped by their fans more than fighters from other countries.
Also guys like Mayweather, Hopkins, Tarver, Ruiz and both Klits get there fair share of hate as well. Saying he Brits get the most hate because they are British is absurd.
