Here's a novel idea: Have Wlad publicly remove all of Haye's excuses
Forget all the legalities and technical mumbo-jumbo. In an ideal world, Wlad should call out to Haye and sit across the table from him. It probably should go something like this:
Wlad: Ok David... let's get this show on the road. What do you need so we can fight?
(Haye puts a smug look on his face, ready to make outlandish demands he's sure Wlad will reject.)
Haye: Well, for starters, I want a 60-40 split... in MY favor.
Wlad: Done. What else?
Haye (stunned, but not fazed yet): I want MY name first on the promotion posters, AND I want to walk last into the ring.
Wlad: You got it. Next?
Haye (starting to look a little panicky): Uhh... I want to be introduced in the ring as the REAL heavyweight champion of the world.
Wlad: That won't last too long, so... ok... consider it done. Anything more?
Haye (in pure panic mode): Did I say 60-40? I meant 70-30.
Wlad (growing impatient now): Look Haye... you want to fight or not?
Haye: SEE!?!? You're putting up roadblocks already.
Wlad: Look asshole, I'll fight you for free.
Haye: Arrrrrghhh! I just threw out my shoulder.
(Exit stage left)

The fight would be happening if Wlad didn't f*** about with who gets what PPV. Haye wanted the UK and Wlad got Germany as well as the 50/50 split for the rest of the money produced for the fight but robocop said no. I also see that Del Boy is getting ripped off.

So you belong to the camp that actually believes that Haye sincerely wants to fight Wlad. And I'm sure there's at least a few dozen souls who actually believe that. You see... THAT'S why I think Wlad should pull out all the stops, and put an end to this nonsense. Remove all the excuses, and you leave the other guy no recourse except to say: "Yes, I'll fight you." or "No, I never had any intention of fighting you." Makes perfect sense to me.

I like the idea of Wlad sitting down and publicly accepting all of these demands so haye has no excuse to get the fight on, but from what I'm hearing most of Wlad's opponents are lucky if they even get some tickets to the fight for their camp... :rolleyes:
It's about as big a fantasy as the population of the playboy mansion coming down with nymphomania and absailing through my window. probably about as likely.

Seriously though, I can't say for sure (and I don't know who can) exactly who demands what and why. But if I was Wlad's adviser, I'd say:
"Look Wlad... this is going to be a mega-fight. The public interest has peaked, but could begin to wane if this gets dragged on too much longer. The time to fight this guy is now. You're already a multi-millionaire. So what if Haye wants a few more PPV shares, or a better gate split? Let's get this done. Think what it will do for your legacy. As long as this guy is out there barking that you're (cough) scared of him... he's just a pesky little gnat getting some people's attention."

Haye ain't going to get in with Wlad until he looks beatable or is on the serious decline or actually loses. He's going to be making something like 15-20 million USD fighting Harrison from the reports I read. And from what I gathered, his countrymen believes him to be the legit HW champ and that Wlad is making excuses not to fight.
So if Haye is making that much fighting bums and is recognized as the "Champ" in his country, he ain't stepping in with Wlad until 1 of those 3 things happen to Wlad.

Don't get me wrong i'd love to see this happen! And i'd love to see the fight happen even more. its not been easy supporting Haye but i still think the fight well happen it has to both sides need to agree and as i'm sure none of us know the real story about whats been going on because....know ones in Hayes camp or Wlads so all we can do is read newspapers, online articles, and watch video when can but speculate we wont know the true story.

And we'll continue to have the "Haye is scared of Wlad" camp, and the "Wlad ain't making a good enough offer to Haye" camp... and we'll continue to have these useless threads... blah, blah, blah... ad nauseaum... UNTIL Wlad publicly calls out Haye and, to paraphrase Marlon Brando in "The Godfather", he makes him an offer he can't refuse. And I'll go one further. If Wlad continues to allow Haye to make excuses, maybe after a while he'll deserve some of the criticism about the fight not being made.

Haye is fighting audley harrison. Shit fight but it'll earn him alot of money
Klit is fighting Derek chisora. Shit fight but it keeps wlad busy
Speculation as to why Haye vs Klit has fallen apart in negotiation is just that. Speculation. No one knows the truth you just choose to side with one or the other.
Those are the facts everything else is childish gob shite.
