I've dropped some poundage.
I started a diet the first week of September. Actually, I'm looking at this as a "change of life style" rather than a diet. I know; I know.
Anyway, I've been eating the salads and doing the pedaling exersices with a smile on my face, and so it's paid off.
I'm still fighting the likes of Chris Arreola and David Tua at this point, but I am certainly on my way to a weight that starts with 1.
I weighed 226 pounds on September 3 and this past Monday I weighed 217. Slow, yet considering all my structual problems I'm pleased with the result. At first I lived in fear, scared plaque would break free resulting in a heart-attack or stroke, but I'm over the fear.
Re: I've dropped some poundage.
good job man, remember, slow weight loss is sustainable weight loss.
Most of the stories of people that diet go from before to after back to before over the course of six months.
Keep up the good work.
Re: I've dropped some poundage.
I've dropped some weight as well....just drinking more water, eating more veggies, and not crushing junk food. Simple enough and I'm back to what I weighed in high school already. I've tried to get back in the gym on a regular basis but something always comes up and interrupts me from really making progress.....this Monday, I start again with trying to go to the gym on the reg.
Re: I've dropped some poundage.
Good for you man. Keep it up. I cut alot way to fast and metabolism went haywire, smart is good. Feels nice to reach top of stares and not be practically winded :-X
Re: I've dropped some poundage.
I remember when I was in high school playing football and I went from 230 to 184 in half the season, I looked like I just escaped from a prison camp. I don't know if I'd call it anorexia because I was exercising too much or bulemia because I threw up every day from over exersion (which is what I call it, over exersion/over training) but whatever it was I ate 1 and 1/2 meals a day the full meal was lunch (usually 2 chicken sandwiches) and I saw those 2 sandwiches when I ate them at 12:00 and then I saw them again when I puked them up at football practice and then I was so tired after practice I didn't feel like eating much dinner. It's probably the closest I ever got to washboard abs, but the sad thing is I didn't even enjoy how fit I was. I'm probably in my best shape now when I'm in the 190-210 range, but right now I'm 235-240 so I'm not horribly out of shape, I just need to exercise more consistently.
If I was 184 right now I'd be mighty happy.....especially if I did it without puking every day.
And just bear in mind that I wasn't telling myself "I have to throw up" every day at practice I was just litterally trying my hardest to improve and my metabolism just couldn't keep up. I probably wasn't in the best pyschological position, but I don't think I had any kind of disorder.....but looking at it you'd think I would 46 pounds in a couple months is pretty drastic. And by all means I COULD work out as hard as I used to but puking that much in a public place is kind of frowned upon.
Re: I've dropped some poundage.
good stuff mate.... soon we will have to call you boxingchimpanzee.
keep it up ;)
Re: I've dropped some poundage.
Nice work mate - it's so hard to shift weight and maintain it. I am the world's worst, having weighed as much as 316 pounds and as little as 208 in the past 4 years

With the amount of cock you have up yer arse I would have thought keeping it in would be more of a challenge?

Good stuff Silverback,
Keep up the good work and just stay consistant.
Remember what I've gone through... I did it and I'm still doing it.

I went from wearing Large to now being able to buy fitted shirts that are Small or Medium.
