Is it acceptable to go out to bars / clubs by yourself?
So tonights a saturday night. I'm 20 and have not too long ago became single. I've been mulling over all of yesterday and today if I should go out tonight, and indeed if I did which bar / club should I go to. However I've recently moved back to university but none of my friends are back yet so I would be going out by myself. Do you guys think its acceptable to go out by yourself? Im sat here now thinking I could be doing a load of better things with my life right now but at the same time Im not sure its normal to get drunk by yourself in your room go to a nightclub and just try and pull. Thoughts?

You have to be super charismatic to pull it off, I have tried 2-3 times and it never worked, there I am walking around the club by myself looking suspicious, every girl is going to be with at least one friend if not multiple so its going to be hard to split her up, like I said before it all depends on how charismatic you are.

Why not? I used to be in a LOCKERS like dance group. 4 lads. We hung out at funk clubs to cut the rug. Poppin and Lockin. No spinning on the head stuff. Shabbadoo like although we were actually before him.
The Lockers came first in my years of watching Carson and Soul Train. There were many times in the big city that I got a hankering to go out and did so on my own.
I enjoy my own company and its usually when I have had the most fun if I were to calculate it.

When i went traveling i went by my own had to go out having a few drinks to meet people. Most of the times went really good. remember, those girls who's craziest on the dance floor is the ones that wants it the most. but be careful :) no backup with ya

Out here I go to a bar I know occasionally, but it is easy to find people who will play a game of darts with you. As a foreigner people will make the effort with you. In England I would never go out on my own, here I don't mind.
