The jackpot for Tuesday is now at 586 million dollars, with a cash value of $316 million. Don't buy tickets if you haven't already done so. I will NOT be using my Legendary Foolproof Lotto Winning System as it was specifically designed for the Powerball game.
Thus, I am more confident than ever- certain, in fact- that I am going to win.
I am hoping it goes higher as I would like to be the only "Lotto Winner" in the annual Forbes Magazine list of billionaires. I'd be right between the Saudi that keeps getting caught lying about his net worth and the guy that made a billion from HerbaLife but now calls it a Ponzi scheme.

When the lottery started in Britain everyone I knew was in schemes to beat it. People actually thought they could beat a 14 million to 1 shot with a £50 per week stake. ;D

When I say everyone, I don't really mean everyone I knew, but these same people also bought into the Pyramid scheme ;D

Its nice to dream though, Id be an asshole with that amount, the powers that be wouldnt like me at all. Id have my own mercenary army feeding the worlds poor out of air drops, any of those gorilla army or kid armies that slaughter these villagers , gets in the way of their work or steals from the hungry, would have trained killers to get past, no diplomacy or bullshit they be getting fed and watered direct.

I'd give most of it away to people I know and charity. I wouldn't want to feel the dread that comes with having to protect a large sum of money from white collar criminals.

It is nice to dream. $300 million is some serious wedge. Fuck giving it away.

I'd set up my own boxing promotions business. Actually make that sports promotion business. I'd buy some super stallions and create my own horse racing stable. I'd buy a great big boat to sail around the world. Or maybe just up and down the Thames. Either way a bloody big boat.

I'd stay living in England. I believe there's an islolated village on the cornwall coast where the most serious crime reported in 12 months was a stolen bike. There's only one bobby for the entire area. I'd live there. I'd also have a flat near Tower Bridge that looks over the Thames (I know the perfect spot). I'd travel almost exclusively by helicopter.

I'd go on one of those super rich hunting party things in South Africa, where they shoot lions and elephants and stuff. However, the only animals i'll be shooting are the humans.

Yes but I didn't run it or understand odds like I do now. I'd just chuck my tenner a week into the pot. It makes me laugh thinking back how adamant these blokes were that they had a system to beat it from such a tiny outlay. Madness. They probably still do it to this day ;D

My thick elder brother and his thick wife had a system to beat the lottery. In a nutshell stick with the same numbers and live for 14 million weeks.


She said to me stick with the same numbers and eventually you'll win. I said even if that were true and it was working through every combination you could potentially need to stay alive for 14 million weeks.

She asked how long that was in years.

Who knew someone that thought he was the bollocks by picking 1,2,3,4,5,6 every week, then it turns out literally thousands do the same thing. ;D

A couple years back I read about a woman in California that won after playing the same numbers for 17 years.

Statistically playing the same numbers offers a better chance of winning.

It has be said that the lottery is a tax on stupidity and nothing has made me think otherwise.

Still it is my birthday in two weeks and I plan on buying scratch cards, about 5£ worth, the only time during the year I give it go.
Think this year will be last time I carry on this tradition.

I do the Thunderball which gives you a better return but less money.

I do the health lottery in its place and not won anything.

Again I lose the lottery....the building of my super villain secret lair will have to wait :(
