I really think hes going to beat Canelo, hes a southpaw who has great boxing ability and is good at countering. Going off the Mayweather performance and comparing the Trout performances I just think Canelo is going to get outboxed. Ive liked what ive seen of Lara and I think he has come across really well in the all access. I hope he beats Canelo, I cant say I am a fan of his.

Lara will have to win very, very decisively to get a decision over Canelo. He definitely has the tools to do it, so it should be interesting...

Canelo is a one trick pony and will only be effective early, that's ok against shit opposition hence why he has a good record, but it wont work against a good fighter like Lara, hes too predictable.Quote:

I wouldn't say a one trick pony but you are right about being effective only in the early rounds. He still fades down the stretch as we saw el Perro pick up the pace before the stoppage and Canelo was tired. I think its a toss up but I think Lara is gonna take it. Alvarez is better than Angulo and Molina. Molina beat Lara. And Angulo dropped him twice. I have a hard time seeing Lara being able to keep Alvarez off himQuote:

lara will win, and get robbed. Duh!!! another bullshit decision in favor of the stations boy!!
i think its a pickem type of fight. i think that lara wins it but i can easily see canelo winning. i dont have a strong opinion either way.

He has all the tools and basics to do to Alvarez what he has already run into, but he also coasts and can be and has been outhustled. He easily gives up southpaw. Alvarez is the most accurate and naturally bigger puncher Lara has faced but today I doubt Lara has the mentality or consistency to keep him off long term.
I think Lara takes it too. Canelo will likely get outboxed. I think Lara is just too clever for him.
