One of many sad stories in boxing. What a waste.
I don't think he will get anywhere near 54 years but his boxing career in the ring is over. So much depends on the judge it's hard to say what will happen. Like you said a waste.Quote:

Dude, he shot a relative, that isn't going away! He runs around waving a gun around, he bullies and punches people when he doesn't get his way. They better do something to get his attention. Taylor was always kinda the nice guy in boxing - great skills, not too much shit-talk, dined out beating B-Hop twice for most of his career, yet always winding up getting knocked out in good fights.Quote:

He's been charged with second degree battery, that is, committing a battery where intentional serious bodily injury is inflicted. This includes injury which features unconsciousness, extreme pain, disfigurement, loss or impairment, or substantial risk of death. I reckon he'll get 3 to 5 years. So at the age of 37, it's not unthinkable that he could be in the ring again.
