Sad that this is happening if true. Not good at all.

One of many sad stories in boxing. What a waste.
They should give him probation and time served.
a friend of mine in Lil Rock saw him punch a waiter outside a Sonic Hot Dogs
That's a cool haircut he's got there. He's training for a fight but also been told he could be locked up for 54 years. Mad world. Nuts.
3-Time SADDO PREDICTION COMP CHAMPION.
Dude, he shot a relative, that isn't going away! He runs around waving a gun around, he bullies and punches people when he doesn't get his way. They better do something to get his attention. That man needs some serious quiet time, whether it was drug related or not. In my opinion, of course.![]()
Was there any move by his attorneys or reps to possible brain damage as defense? In an ideal world the prosecution would sentence him to community service, mandate a buddy movie with Kelly Pavlik on the shared fall from glory and the importance of moderation and staying away from large amounts of high grade marijuana and semi automatic weapons.
54 years in prison and he hasnt killed anyone. Jermaine should have been a white police officer instead.
Taylor was always kinda the nice guy in boxing - great skills, not too much shit-talk, dined out beating B-Hop twice for most of his career, yet always winding up getting knocked out in good fights.
Now, though, he genuinely seems like a scary-ass dude. Its a real shame too, taylor seemed like a truly good person and i think he still is. those are often the ones who are the most tortured inside.
He ain't gonna get 54 years dude.
He's been charged with second degree battery, that is, committing a battery where intentional serious bodily injury is inflicted. This includes injury which features unconsciousness, extreme pain, disfigurement, loss or impairment, or substantial risk of death. I reckon he'll get 3 to 5 years. So at the age of 37, it's not unthinkable that he could be in the ring again.
