How Blumenthal's political career survived him saying that he served in Vietnam when in fact he did NOT is just astounding....who else would survive that? That's a huge deal and should be considered a violation of the Stolen Valor Act. But he's a Democrat so I guess alls well that ends well.

That alone ruins Blumenthal for me. I don't care if he says "The sky is blue" and "2 + 2 = 4" saying he served in Vietnam when he didn't and he has seemingly had no traumatic head injuries to where he could be mistaken about it is unforgivable.

It's a swerve and distraction by Trump who oddly enough received as many deferments as Blumenthal. Difference is one of them went through boot camp at the very least.
