How Blumenthal's political career survived him saying that he served in Vietnam when in fact he did NOT is just astounding....who else would survive that? That's a huge deal and should be considered a violation of the Stolen Valor Act. But he's a Democrat so I guess alls well that ends well.

That alone ruins Blumenthal for me. I don't care if he says "The sky is blue" and "2 + 2 = 4" saying he served in Vietnam when he didn't and he has seemingly had no traumatic head injuries to where he could be mistaken about it is unforgivable.



Chuck Schumer is a pussy and it's time he and the rest of the Democrats owned up as to why they have 0 power in DC right now...it's nothing the Republicans have done, the Democrats have shot themselves in the foot and are taking aim at the other foot just to be sure.

It's a swerve and distraction by Trump who oddly enough received as many deferments as Blumenthal. Difference is one of them went through boot camp at the very least. Any politician slamming another politician about serving in combat..when both did not..is like watching two spoiled brats slap fight at the kiddie table while the men eat in the other room. It's just foul and opportunistic. Senator, President no matter. Fook em both.

Back to point though a strategist for the White House assisting Judge Gorsuch confirmed the whole 'demoralizing and disheartening' comment as have two other Republicans. I think they were trying to put it out there ahead of confirmation or such and then it imploded on itself with Trump firing off.
