Top notch 154 Triple header Oct. 14
Jarrett Hurd v Austin Trout we've known of and would love to see Trout come in top form and the craftiness he is capable of. Hurd is one of my favorite 'on the rise' fighters but he has spots where he coasts on physicality and loves the power game. I like all of these really...also Lara vs Terrell Gausha in what I think will be a step up for Lara over the last couple years. Gausha may not carry bricks but he can box with speed and frankly Lara runs hot and cold. And really, haven't we just had enough of Lara ;D. The can't miss for me is Jermell Charlo taking on Erickson Lubin in what is a breath of fresh air with top young champ on solid run vs top young contender. Wasn't sure about Lubin and still bit green but he shown confidence and serious jack hammers lately. Would love to see Andrade in this mix up!

The Charlo/Lubin fight is one of my favorites this year. The Charlo brothers both deserve a bit of respect for what they are doing lately, they're winning me over.
Re: Top notch 154 Triple header Oct. 14
Lubin is a good young fighter but I'm not sure that he is ready for charlo yet. I'm definitely excited for the match though.
Hurd has never impressed me that much. I think trout can definitely win if he fights well, but who knows how much he has left.
Re: Top notch 154 Triple header Oct. 14
Hurd is lucky Harrison is only a 9 round fighter. Trout's got a great shot here. Lubin stepping up in class. Jermell has been looking good. The main event is the worse fight of the lot. I hope this leads to unification's.

Hurd is striking me as mentally thick and was waiting to long in that one but no doubt Harrison was being ground down and hurt a few times. Trout won't be dumb enough to stand there waving him in with no answers like that.
Fat Dan talked about Andrade on a Oct. 21st hbo card vs TBA. Not sure if it has legs but he definitely needs to be in the mix somehow. Could be Lara after that match initially fell apart. Andrade should have fought Charlo when it was essentially made. Now he's playing catch up
Re: Top notch 154 Triple header Oct. 14
Lara vs Andrade needs to be made soon. The WBA is taking its time with unifying these regular and interim titles. Castano is a nice addition to the division as is veteran Vitu.

There's a featherweight card on the same day with Santa Cruz and Mares fighting.

Hurd sounds pretty pumped as it nears. Seen some talk where he's talked down a bit and not sure I'd call him far weaker trinket holder at 154. Less experienced and needs to sharpen mentally sure but agree with him that physically Trout will have tough time staying in and his legs. Early rounds should be very interesting for Trout, no doubt he'll touch him up with some counters. Love to see Trout pull it off.

Good interview and seems like a good guy. He gave good answers not bland ones most fighters do today.
Re: Top notch 154 Triple header Oct. 14
Hurd is a pretty big Jr Middle. Trout's been inactive. Sure Trout will have some tough moments. I think if Trout can remain mobile he'll give Hurd hell.

Leftovers generally means that they were easily beaten by said fighter. Both fights were close and could have gone either way.
And I don’t know what to tell you if you aren’t excited for Charlo vs Lubin. Great matchup
