Anyone watching FNF? Not likely since watching Sykes fight is about as exciting as watching Harrison... but damn, Mesi really sounds like he's in denial. Brian Kenny asked him point blank if he'd listen to a doctor who told him not to fight and he goes on to admit some have but then just trashes them like they weren't even doctors... seems kinda sketchy to me. Hope I don't have to hear about another boxer dying in the ring anytime soon.

Obviously, it just seemed strange to me, doesn't seem to have too much confidence. BK asked him what he thought he could do in the division and his only answer was "bring excitement." Doesn't really sound like the answer of a confident man.
i think the layoff effected him, he was definitley confident before the whole incident
There are a lot worse cases of fighters that should not be fighting than Mesi, Go to Saddo's boxing records of fighters, You've got guys that won five bouts and lost about twenty or more by way of Ko(Seriously no pun intended), In this infamous case sadly a few doctors are just trying to make a name for themselves. I really do not like the sound of that. Seriously have a good think about that. Shouldn't Dr's with their expertise save lives if they are saveable?
