    Default Mesi in denial?

Anyone watching FNF? Not likely since watching Sykes fight is about as exciting as watching Harrison... but damn, Mesi really sounds like he's in denial. Brian Kenny asked him point blank if he'd listen to a doctor who told him not to fight and he goes on to admit some have but then just trashes them like they weren't even doctors... seems kinda sketchy to me. Hope I don't have to hear about another boxer dying in the ring anytime soon.

Obviously, it just seemed strange to me, doesn't seem to have too much confidence. BK asked him what he thought he could do in the division and his only answer was "bring excitement." Doesn't really sound like the answer of a confident man.

There are a lot worse cases of fighters that should not be fighting than Mesi, Go to Saddo's boxing records of fighters, You've got guys that won five bouts and lost about twenty or more by way of Ko(Seriously no pun intended), In this infamous case sadly a few doctors are just trying to make a name for themselves. Why don't they talk about the fighters that have ko after ko loses.

Mesi was just about to make big money prior to his injury, so I guess he figures that he put alot of hard work and time into boxing, so why not try to cash in on his popularity and him being a marketable white heavyweight don't hurt either

I say let them both fight if thats what they choose to do, a man should have the liberty's to do what they wish, neither are breaking laws just taking their lives into their own hands. We all do this everday.

    Mesi called out Rahman.

Rahman called in and said 'yeah sure I'd fight you.'

    Denial or delusion?

It would be a rubber match, btw ... Mesi KO's Rachman 2nd round age 13, and lost to him a year later.

Joe would need to borrow someone else's defense for the night.

I really do not like the sound of that. Seriously have a good think about that. Shouldn't Dr's with their expertise save lives if they are saveable? Men and woman who box are mothers, fathers, sisters, brothers, sons and daughters, responsibilty must lie upon doctors to protect boxers who won't save themselves because they have too much pride or still feel they have fight in them.

    Nonsense! Are we not free?

I'm too fat -maybe the doctor should instruct Pizza Hut to refuse me service?

I drink too much -hang my picture up at the liquor store?

I suppose they'll have to cofiscate my motorcycle too, it's bound to get me killed.

They can make suicide illegal, but if I wish to blow my brains out those fascist f#cks can't stop me.

I'm not saying the guy shouldn't do what he wants, but damn... if you're trying to comeback from some kind of injury and prove to everyone that you're just fine and have no issues moving forward, at least be confident about it. Sitting there and saying that you're just there to "bring excitement" doesn't sound confident, it just sounds like he's expecting to get his face beat in.

If Mesi really wants to get knocked out that bad. Let him. He'll never be champion.
