The Myth Of GGG As The Man To Beat Mayweather
If and when Money schools this slavic hype job who dines out on beating the shit outta cab drivers, journeymen and (non title) fighters just to get his stock up but once he gets in the ring with a dog like Ward then its gonna be a brawling azz wooping because GGG would not have any advantages (like weight as he would do with Mayweather) but he ain't calling out Ward because it's not that big of a payday and after he loses his stock goes down cause they know he isn't the best. But if he rides that train longer he will continue to suck money and attention of the casual fans.
Andre Ward !! Now thats who that faggot should be calling out and all boxing heads know it but his puzzy azz is trying to fight small welterweights. GGG promoters as well as his team do not want to face Andre ward. If they say that it will be a lie (smoke and mirrors)
He wants to fight Floyd cause he knows that if he loses it won't even matter cause its Mayweather plus Mayweather would try to outbox him not really slug it out plus its a shitload of money.
Floyd would school GGG so badly even worse than Canelo. But not to worry. People would say GGG was drained and all Floyd did was run all night. Mayweather can save Jesus from a burning building and still be unappreciated. And after he beats GGG people will want Floyd to take on cancer. If he cant find a cure then clearly he cant be TBE.

Re: The Myth Of GGG As The Man To Beat Mayweather
Learn to read.
GGG never said he would beat Mayweather, but, as a competing fighter he would and should go into the fight full of confidence in his skills.
From what I read, GGG wants the fight because ... it is business = money! Simple, is not it?

Hmmmmmmmmmmmm, I wonder what your feelings on why Mayweather is under appreciated......it must be......ah.......nope...nothings coming to me. Ideas anyone.

Re: The Myth Of GGG As The Man To Beat Mayweather
Unlike Denilson , some none biased boxing fans appreciate both the undoubted skill of Floyd , to the machine like efficiency and power of GGG.
Unlike brain dead who started this thread , some of us just like boxing , race doesn't come into it. No idea why people don't like GGG , he is an awesome fighter.
I wanted Hopkins to beat Calzaghe , I wanted Hatton to beat Mayweather , I just choose who I want to win regardless of race . I'm pretty sure most here do.

Slavic hype job. faggot. puzzy ass. Don't know how or what GGG did to offend you other than knockout almost anyone he gets in the ring. I ordered HBO just to watch him fight because unlike "TBE" I know GGG's fights will be exciting and fun to watch.
Just to stay on topic, I agree a fight between GGG n Floyd will most likely end up like Canelo vs Floyd. But boxing politics and bullshit aside, GGG is an exciting fighter because you know what to expect when you tune in to watch him. He has one goal in mind, and its just to mess up the other dude.
I still don't see why you're insulting a fighter who's doing good for the sport by going in there and fighting. Regardless of his opponents, I enjoy watching GGG and I want more of GGG. I'm sure when a top level fighter finally steps in the ring with him, we'll get another exciting fight.

The problem for you is that you are trying to read my mind, instead of my words. Thus you assumed I'm biased and this is a biased opinion. This leads to poor reading skills. Remember I have been a member of saddo for 10 years, its only been in the last year that I have commented on topics concerning race.
But as you brought up the topic of race, not me. You.You hear me ? YOU brought it up. Why you pointed that you wanted Hopkins to win over Calzaghe is beyone me. What ? Is that a "My best friend is black" moment ? Or is that supposed to impress me ? Should I make you an honourary brother now ? Get out my face.
My opinion GGG is what I see, not his race, and now that you brought up Calzaghe. I think Calzaghe would have beaten GGG all day.
-
Re: The Myth Of GGG As The Man To Beat Mayweather
Reading your words is brain atrophying, why don't you just fuck off? You can't even finish the first sentence of your OP. If and when Floyd schools him then what? You're the biggest idiot on here and everything you post is racist, no idea why you aren't banned.

Re: The Myth Of GGG As The Man To Beat Mayweather
People, can you see he is trolling.....yall are falling for his bait. lol
Ward is too skilled for ggg. I think a fight with ggg vs canelo or cotto would be a toss up, but I would lean toward the latter just because they have both been in the rings with some of the best fighters out. GGG has not yet, so until he fights another superstar and wins I wont call ggg the second coming.
But one things for sure....he does bring the big drama show!
ggg goes in for the kill, he stalks his opponents, and he dispatches them as a elite fighter should. Just cant wait to see him in the ring with another elite.

Re: The Myth Of GGG As The Man To Beat Mayweather
To be fair, I don't see what was racist about the post? A bit homophobic but not racist.
All denilson said was - I hate GGG, he's a hype job. Ward and Floyd would whoop him. (in a more colourful way of course)
-
Re: The Myth Of GGG As The Man To Beat Mayweather
GGG is miles more entertaining and appealing than floyd
and much less of a nob
hows about that for a comparison?

He said that GGG would lose to a "dog" like Ward. Clearly he thinks black fighters only win because they are unpredictable and can't feed themselves, I'm sick of this guy.

You're like a broken record. You can't move forward, you're boring like Floyd can be in the ring at times, doomed to repeat the same crap over and over.
GGG, according to you, is a Slavic hype job, puzzy? azz?, money hungry, cherry picker. Hell, I could start calling you a hater/racist, you've called people haters for less when they talk about Floyd.
Ward? Ward hasn't been fighting for a couple of years. Why would GGG be calling out a fighter in a different weight division who is inactive?
Money? Why even mention money? That's the reason everyone wants to fight Floyd. Believe it or not, Floyd fights for money too.
Size? Are you saying Floyd never had a size advantage? According to you Floyd is the TBE, so it follows that every time be fights he's cherry picking.
It sounds like I'm attacking Floyd, but it's really you I have a problem with. I think you are a racist and scared shirtless.
Those Slavic (whites) hype jobs have some of the Heavyweight Belts and they're moving in on some other ones in a big way.
One other thing. Do you believe the only reason boxing fans want to see the Russians fight is because they're white or could their styles have something to do with it?
-
Re: The Myth Of GGG As The Man To Beat Mayweather
There is no way Floyd could and would beat GGG at middleweight and I would not want to see any catchweight which is what Floyd made Canelo do. I am sure Ward would beat GGG as well as Froch but GGG is the real deal. All the top middleweights do not want to go near him. GGG is the new Hagler!
-
Re: The Myth Of GGG As The Man To Beat Mayweather
Mayweather is a truly masterful boxer. Always fit, great game plan that he always follows, good boxing brain, fantastic hand speed and timing.he is without doubt an all time great.
However, I also think Golovkin is the real thing, and that if they fought at middleweight I think GGG would just be too big and too strong. Don't forget Floyd is not really even a natural welterweight, he's been punching above his weight for years already.
Golovkin puts intense pressure on his opponents, he doesn't seem to burn energy and his footwork is superb and underrated. He most certainly possesses power and will stop anyone he lands on IMO
The question here is whether he would ever land on Mayweather, and he is also quite easy to hit and Floyds laser right hand would be landing pretty regularly. He's got a good chin and I don't think he gets cut much.
The real Sugar Ray slightly overreached himself when he went up to light heavy, I don't think Floyd needs to make the same mistake..

Re: The Myth Of GGG As The Man To Beat Mayweather
....if someone blacker than Mayweather came along would denilson support them, cry because of the black on black violence, or spew venom at the unseen hand that the white devil has no doubt played in pitting two men of color against each other and profiting from it?

Re: The Myth Of GGG As The Man To Beat Mayweather
GGG is great at what he does but please can we stop with matching him up against mayweather.
People want mayweather beat so bad they are dragging everyone down to fight him.
GGG never said he wants to fight mayweather and always avoided the question in the past.
Anyone would take the mayweather fight due to the money involved so don't blame any fighter on this planet for not wanting the mayweather fight.
Put this crap to rest.
Floyd just beat the biggest threat to his 0 in a 8-4 or 7-5 win over a talented pacman.
-
Re: The Myth Of GGG As The Man To Beat Mayweather
I'd pick Floyd of 2007-2011 or so to beat GGG. The problem is it would take a LOT of moving, and I don't think Floyd has the legs for it anymore.
But yeah if Floyd were to fight GGG in September at 154 (like GGG claims he will drop down to) and wins, people will say GGG was weight drained and Floyd was a coward to not fight him at 160. If he fought and beat GGG at 160, people would say "ohh GGG was overrated, he never fought anyone, he looked flawed and vulnerable at times, he wasn't great, Floyd never fights great fighters in their prime, ect".
If people want to believe something really badly, they're going to believe it and they'll do as much mental gymnastics as needed to justify it, facts/evidence/logic be damned. Most people hate Floyd and therefore want to believe that he's nothing special and has built his career by fighting all stiffs and guys who were picked at their most vulnerable time/weight/ect. These people are not just going to abandon those beliefs because it would invalidate the 10 years or so they've been spouting it to anyone who would listen. Not saying all Floyd's non-fans are like that, but I do see an awful lot of it on this board.
If Floyd fought Wladimir in September and knocked him out, a few people here would say it was bullshit because Wlad was old with a glass jaw. ;D

Re: The Myth Of GGG As The Man To Beat Mayweather
GGG is a fine boxer he was a outstanding amateur, he has a good pedigree for the pro ranks,
Mayweather has the same pedigree as well, 2 totally different fighters both excellent in there
art, Mayweather is Picasso modern and not to ever ones taste, GGG is like a classic old master.
If you look at boxing as a art, and the fighters as artists.:)

Re: The Myth Of GGG As The Man To Beat Mayweather
If Floyd beat GGG at middleweight then he truly would be TBE. No way could he do that then or now.

I can only talk for myself, but it's not that I want Mayweather beat , far from it. Originally I thought this match up was ridiculous, but Floyd is so much better than everyone his size, that this gets talked about. From my side , this is a massive compliment to Floyd because realistically a guy his size should get hammered by a guy with the power of GGG .
For the record, if the fight was made , I would predict a Floyd victory, but he would have to feel GGG's power at some stage of the fight and come through that. I believe Floyd's resilience is not given credit because he never needs to show it.
I don't see another fight out there that would test Floyd as much as this, and with Floyd's strive to be TBE, he needs to push himself to the limit. If it comes off, best of luck to both of them.
And for the record, I had him beating Pac wider than that, more like 9 and a half to 2 and a half.

In full agreement here.
Insiders in Las Vegas say,
That Floyd has 'zero' inclination of taking on a tough opponent, and especially one
who can possibly beat him.
He will stay in the 'safe confines' of Las Vegas.

Re: The Myth Of GGG As The Man To Beat Mayweather
Since Mayweather dominated Pacqiuao nobody is willing to remember that people said Pac would DESTROY him. KO for Pac in under 8 rounds was thrown around a lot.
Now it's Mayweather won't fight any real competition.
Give me a fucking break!

Re: The Myth Of GGG As The Man To Beat Mayweather
GGG is still underdog against Floyd. Floyd is just too polished. I think he takes GGG to school still.GGG hasn't shown anything against top tier yet. If he whoops Cotto and Canelo then yeah he deserves a shot. I think he will probably fight Kirkland next or a fighter hoping to get back in the spotlight first.

Re: The Myth Of GGG As The Man To Beat Mayweather
Mayweather money would have to be 8 billion for that to be the case I think. Monroe was a 40/1 underdog:p Believe that would mean Floyd put over 4 million on that fight though? Don't totally know how the payouts work. Crazy if true.

Re: The Myth Of GGG As The Man To Beat Mayweather
Good God Almighty, I actually agree with @denilson200 here on this one. GGG is an overhyped sack of shit, an overhyped Slavic Charlatain. He is garbage and will get KTFO if he ever fought anybody good. He is a little smug-face overconfident obnoxiously-grinning little RAT-LOOKING joke, and I will knock his sorry ass Karagandy Mamby-Pamby Candy-Ass OUT myself. THEY SAY HE IS WILLING TO FIGHT ANYONE AND THAT PEOPLE ARE DUCKING HIM WELL I AINT DUCKING HIS SORRY KAZAKH ASS, I'LL FIGHT HIM ANY TIME. I'LL GO TO HIS GYM IN L.A. LIKE SHANNON BRIGGS DID TO KLIT.
BBB KICKS GGG RIGHT OUT OF THE SPORT OF BOXING. And all my buddies here listed below are all willing to back me up on this, they would support me if I trained a little harder and went to california to instigate a fight with him.

'Triple B'
Gennady Golovkin can adjust his style, which can give Floyd Mayweather 'es mucho problemo'.
He has youth {Age; 33} and strength on his side. At 5' 10 1/2" and with a reach of 70",
he will present himself as a difficult opponent for 'Hit-and-Hold' Floyd.

Re: The Myth Of GGG As The Man To Beat Mayweather
Of course Floyd wont fight GGG. Hes been ducking fighters his whole career. At 154 I reckon GGG would weight 170 fight night, no bigger than Canelo was against him, but for some reason this makes GGG a giant??? No doubt Floyd is great but as Ive always said we will never know how great as he hasnt beaten a prime elite fight. Oscar past it, Mosely past it, Pacquiao past it. I reckon he beats all them in their prime but he didnt.

154 is the upper limit of 39 year old Floyd's ability. It's ridiculous to expect him to keep moving up in weight as he gets older. Why not have GGG move down to 147 to make it a "fairer" fight?

When did I give Pacquiao credit for those wins? And the fight against Floyd would be at 154 so Floyd wouldnt be moving up again.
Move down to 147 for the fight, wouldnt surprise me if thats the demand from Floyd. He has a tendency to make sure fights take place at weights most suited to him.

Fight night GGG would weigh 175 and Floyd would weigh 154. Hardly seems like a fight a 39 year old should be taking.
Why would anyone want to fight at a weight that doesn't suit them? How stupid are you Floyd haters?
