Carl Froch has just posted this picture on Twitter...
What do we think of this?? Could it happen?
-
Re: Carl Froch has just posted this picture on Twitter...
I think he is too big and too strong for GGG and if that is how he looks now then he has kept in shape and will smash GGG.

Re: Carl Froch has just posted this picture on Twitter...
its a fight id very much like to see

Re: Carl Froch has just posted this picture on Twitter...
Last I heard on Froch he apparently was tired after two rounds on the bag and was happy retired lol
-
For all the times I give GGG grief I've always believed in his abilities. I'd take GGG to beat him.

It would be a case of war and who wants it the most out of them both

Re: Carl Froch has just posted this picture on Twitter...
I rate Froch as a fighter, but I do see Golovkin as being hungrier, less ring worn and he has very very underrated boxing skills. Froch always struggles with boxers, and he has traditionally drawn them into a fight and out gutted them.
He has a great chin, but I see Golovkin handing him his first stoppage defeat

the king of sherwood forest will wipe the canvass with the kazakh's yellow-belly

Re: Carl Froch has just posted this picture on Twitter...
Frock has no defence and wouldn't last 5 rounds with Ggg

Re: Carl Froch has just posted this picture on Twitter...
It would make more money in UK but Froch wants to fight in USA. I think it will hapen
-
Re: Carl Froch has just posted this picture on Twitter...
Froch looked mediocre against Groves twice and has now been out for a year. I think GGG stops him in 8 one sided rounds.
-
Re: Carl Froch has just posted this picture on Twitter...
It will be a proper name on GGG's resume at last. Hopefully he stays at 168 and spooks out Ward so much he retires again.

Re: Carl Froch has just posted this picture on Twitter...
Literally with Froch not boxing recently and with him having his birthday the other day, I cant explain how much I appreciate what he's done for me on a personal level in the sport. From a young age I remember seeing him on the bbc and always had a soft spot for him, really is my favourite fighter. He's the reason I wanted to box myself, would be so made up if he's been training hard on the side lines and is in good enough condition mentally in the sense that he genuinely wants to box again and physically that he's in great shape as the picture shows. 38 or not he still can do things in the 168 division, he would beat Degale, would be a great fight but going off the dirrell performance on degales perspective Froch wouldn't let him off slacking like he did in the later rounds. Hope it can happen!

You seem to forget Froch catches punches with his face , always has done and he has never been in with a puncher of such accuracy as GGG.
I took Froch an age to stop Groves who has dodgy whiskers , he would be looking at the lights before then.
-
Re: Carl Froch has just posted this picture on Twitter...
Froch does fight with his face, but he is big enough and strong enough to beat GGG, but I back
GGG funny he calls out GGG to step up in weight,! were he does not seem to want to step up
in weight to light HW. Carl I will fight anybody Froch, ! he does make himself look a fool.
The 4th best Super middle, this country has had has never been short of talking rubbish the
fight game is full of Champions talking rubbish, it's good to put bums on seats.
Carl move up to light HW, Calzaghe did but it seems Froch does not to fancy his chances.

Re: Carl Froch has just posted this picture on Twitter...
I would like to see Froch fight GGG if GGG wants to move out of the MW division.
But GGG gets crap for fighting guys from lower divisions , but Froch doesn't ?
-
Re: Carl Froch has just posted this picture on Twitter...
Froch is a super middleweight pure and simple.
-
Re: Carl Froch has just posted this picture on Twitter...
I'd like to see Froch try to prove it.
-
Re: Carl Froch has just posted this picture on Twitter...
froch will froch his froching ass up in the 6th round, about the 1-minute mark, who's taking bets you fucking tightwads

Whatever you want to bet, name your price. Or did you purposely make the text small and hard to read hoping no one would call your bluff?

Stop now your money, is lost Froch is past his best.;D
-
Re: Carl Froch has just posted this picture on Twitter...
Froch might be right. He's a big 168lber, might be too big for GGG.
-
Re: Carl Froch has just posted this picture on Twitter...
I wouldn't like Froch's chances with GGG one little bit.
He looked poor in both fights with Groves and even a little gun shy in the second fight. He's been in a lot of hard fights and spent most of his career blocking punches with his face, and it's beginning to show.
I'd love to see the fight though because you just never know with Froch. He's been written off a few times before!

@Greenbeanz How DARE you like that post. I will now use my inside leverage and have your "like" removed. Of ALL the petty brown-nosing acts you have perpetrated against these fine men here, this one reeks of the most pungent ROT ever. (besides that which wafts garlicky out of your shoes) :-X

Froch has fought top opposition. Once you have tried your hand against the very best you can do whatever you want.

Re: Carl Froch has just posted this picture on Twitter...
A fight with the Kazak does not make any sense for Carl. There is nothing in it for him. Even if he beat him he would be remembered for beating up a middleweight and some would say that its proof the Kazak was a hypejob all along. He'd get no credit for it.
Carl has nothing to prove and I hope he fights Degale and regains the title they stripped from him, makes 10 mil and rides off into the sunset. It would be great for the guy if he beat Degale and the money would be ten times the amount he'd get against 3G.
Its his last fight most likely and he's earned the right to finish on his terms. I think he's firing back with this picture because of the urban legend that has started from him making some off the cuff comments on a broadcast about how he'd stay away from 3g
He was simply part of a broadcast team watching his fight and made that. Its part of the unplanned dialogue of the show. From that little blurb for months now all you see on the net is how Carl is scared shitless.
Crazy stuff.

Froch is pathetic! He has no intention of either fighting again or fighting GGG. That's fair enough, if he don't wanna fight, he don't wanna fight.
The only problem is that He's just so desperate to stay in the public limelight, he posts pics of himself looking admittedly Ripped and mentioning GGG. why?
He told reporters GGG wanted Froch to come down in weight for a catch weight. Even Hearn had to admit that wasn't true!
There's only one thing Froch should do.........OFFICIALLY ANNOUNCE HIS RETIREMENT!!!!!

This is what enfuriates me about fans, they have no respect what so ever. Froch has earned admiration by repeatedly taking on the toughest challenges. I didn't like him myself when he first became a known commodity because of all his talking but then he fought top guy after top guy. Not payday after payday but actual good fighters. That should be respected. But here Froch is old and unsure if he even wants to fight and taking his time to decide and "boxing fans" have the nerve to question this champions courage, or say he is scared. That is pathetic, not pathetic by Froch but pathetic by "boxing fans".

Where did Hearn say the catchweight wasn't true?

With all due respect Primo never said Froch was scared and we here in the UK have been watching Froch long before he burst onto the world scene. He has always been a divisive figure here. From the moment he slagged off Calzaghe and demanded to jump the queue to face him. I myself have eulogized him to the point where prior to the Ward fight I suggested he had the opportunity to eclipse virtually all British super middleweights before him, and make a case for being one of the greatest British fighters ever.
Ward can make very good fighters look average so we shouldn't be too hard on him but he has just became unbearably smug since. He loves himself and the limelight so much (which is seen as very UnBritish) that he still can not bring himself to acknowledge the punch that Groves floored him with as being at all significant in his career. He might fight Golovkin but he has been inactive for a while now and that could end up costing him. He is not dumb enough to not realize this and so I would not be in the least bit surprised to see him retire rather than face him. Not because he fears him but because it is a risk he does not need to take. Maybe he would be up to the challenge and good luck to him if he is (he will need it) but at the moment it's just empty words. We will see.

When you read this, you're gonna say "He doesn't actually SAY it." but I think the logical conclusion is that nobody asked for a catchweight. it's up to you in my book. I also saw on a report on Boxing scene saying Hearn denied it, but I can't find it and I ain't trawling through old news anymore. sorry.
-
Re: Carl Froch has just posted this picture on Twitter...
Yeah he doesn't say it (;)). Reason I asked is - Hearn has been unusually quiet about this Golovkin fight. Everything is coming from Golovkin's manager Tom Loeffler.
(have to bin that link as it's from a pathetic troll site)
