I have, but as I have said a matter of days ago, it is January and freezing cold here. Who would be on an uncertain job hunt in the middle of the English winter. It is more realistic to evaluated numbers at the end of a genuine period of time like a year. They will be significant and mock me if I am wrong, but make me King if I am right.

I can and do admit when I am wrong. Two weeks is a ridiculously short time to evaluate the development of an open labour market. These things take time. In fact, I hope that I am proven wrong as I don't think it would be fair to have a hundred thousand migrants.

Yeah sure more will still come. But 25ish in two weeks is probably statistically relevant enough to say that

I have never said 29 million though and I stand by my numbers and them alone. 29 million is silly, there are only just over double that already in the UK. True, not many so far, but, but, but...time, give it time. British Poland wasn't built in 2 weeks.

Just more posturing from Kirkland who obviously has nothing constructive to add to the debate. He is advocating loading immigrants into shipping containers and dropping them into the ocean. It's weird how the seemingly rational can advocate treating human beings willing to travel hundreds of miles in order to work with such callousness. I have had to in the past travel all over the shop in order to work in the UK and Europe. Sometimes unskilled jobs so it would be very hypocritical of me to castigate others for doing the same. I wonder what Kirkland thinks should happen to his less than honest colleagues in the financial sector who have genuinely "ripped off the British tax payer"? Give them a bonus?
