Joe Mesi (30 wins with 25 ko's) vs Stephane Tessier (3 wins with 1 ko's & 7 losses) Round 6: Again...Mesi the first to exchange with jabs. Right & then a left hook up top by Joe. Joe moving a lot more now. He does seem to be gassing. Maybe. Right hand & a nice left jab. Right hand by Mesi. Eats a big left from Tess. Mesi now comfy. Moving & jabbing. Tess connects to teh body. Right & THEN a left by Mesi. Left hook by Tess. Clench. Right by Mesi. Mesi firing on the guard. Tess lands a left hand that throws Mesi's head straight up. Mesi fires back with a 3 punch combo. Left hand from Tess on teh ropes. Exchange. Right hand from Tess on the ropes. Mesi lands a right hook.

Bell!!! One more day passes in Joe Mesi's life.

I think that he just looked a bit rusty & he was to gotdamned gunshy...that's for sure.

He won't be able to make a comeback & I am terrified for him, his fans, & boxing in general. Nothing good will come of this.

Saw Mesi fight in Buffalo once ... Izon. Fun night. Sad to see him come to this. Not that I thought he had a great future as a boxer - impressive but back at that time - against Lewis? Tua? I think Mercer would have murdered him. Bam!

I wish he'd stop and think. He does lots for the community. Articulate. Why not sponsor a boxing gym on Buffalo's east side. Do commentary for HBO? He is well situated to go in many directions. Why back to the hospital?
