And the reason he was able to tag him early a number of times in their fight was because he was able to match Floyd for speed. You need quickness to surprise him with shots he won't see.
So to say because Judah caught Floyd, KT would've caught him too, is crazy
KT doesn't have the necessary speed needed to catch Floyd flush. Sure he's got the power, but Floyd will see and roll anything he's got.
Floyd would pepper him all night at will on route to a Gatti type beatdown. (Maybe not as onesided as the Gatti fight, but it'd be a lopsided victory)
In theory, he has the strength to walk him down all night. But I don't know how much merit that theory holds up.
Because everyone says they're gonna walk down Floyd.
But they never do it.
It's not gratifying moving in on him when every time you try, you're getting nailed.
And even if Floyd probably wouldn't knock KT out, he'd beat down on his confidence all night.
And a hesitant opponent is an easy opponent for Floyd.
He's done it all his career.
I disagree Mayweather figured out Judah after 4th round Mayweather in rematch wouldn't need to figure Judah out because he already knows strategy to beat him now and would win by late stoppage or easy ud but i do agree Mosley has good chance against Mayweather.

Oh, totally!
But there's always the element of speed and surprise which you can never count out.
It wasn't just based on Floyd figuring out Judah that broke down, but also through a combination of body shots but mostly through his own will.
Now, I know I'll only fall under ridicule if I start saying, "what if Judah changed and he stays focused for 12 rounds!" so I won't go that route! :P
But his combination of speed and timing and power holds a better chance of taking out Floyd compared to a slow guy who just might be more determined for 12 rounds.
That's the main thing I was trying to get at.

Agreed with that part ;)
Re: Tsuyz Vs Mayweather at light welterweight?
Speed can be beat by timing and Kostya had excellent timing. He always had more trouble with pressure fighters not so much boxers. I like Kotya by close decision but it is a tough outcome to call.
Re: Tsuyz Vs Mayweather at light welterweight?
Mayweather would have stopped Tszyu

Excellent post,CC. The counter argument is that Floyd is super boxer,he would not have a lapse like Zab did and at 140,he had the power ot make Kostya pay. It would have been a great great fight. I'd favour lil Floyd but only slightly.
Re: Tsuyz Vs Mayweather at light welterweight?
I like Floyd to win this fight rather decisively.
No disrespect to Tszyu, he was a great champ, but he wouldn't have been able to handle Floyd's speed, and Floyd just doesn't leave himself open for big power shots like Zab did.
Floyd would have been a big favorite if this fight happened. Remember, Zab was a 3-1 favorite against Tszyu.

you make a good point... I think ring size plays a crucial roll , much like it does in this up coming Delahoya match . I think in a small ring Floyd gets smoked. Mayweather is too feather fisted to get Tszyus respect. Kostya has underrated speed. he would walk Mayweather down and force exchanges in a smaller ring. . however in a larger ring Floyd would prance his way to a UN Dec. just my opinion O0

Judah has the style the speed the power, its the mind and the focus to do it that would.
I do agree, but Judah needs to get his head out of his ass sometimes..
But I agree with you :)
Anyway, Mayweather would beat Tszyu fairly easily.

at 140, I think Floyd has about as much power as Hatton. I know this has been debated a lot in other threads, and many people disagree with me, but I don't think there's that much difference.

I agree, tell Gatti that Mayweather was feather fisted at 140

:lolhaha: Thats fwockin hilarious Joe.... but April fools was 21 days ago buddy ;)
Re: Tszyu Vs Mayweather at light welterweight?
Mayweather beats Tszyu easier than Hatton
Re: Tsuyz Vs Mayweather at light welterweight?
tszyu dont beat you with speed he beats you with timing and precision. it took mayweather 4 rnds to figuer out judah and couldnt get him out of there.it took tszyu 2 rnds to figuer out judah, and when he did it was all over.but i do think that floyde might have won on points but you never know.remember tszyu has the big eraser and believes he will catch you, its only a matter of time.tszyu destroyed both mitchel and judah before floyde got to them in more impressive fashion.it would have been a heck of a fight.
