well obviously it would have been a totally different fight but the way floyd boxed the week after the hatton - tszyu fight (against gatti) may suggest that mayweather would have boxed very cute against tszyu and maybe earned a decision because of his speed advantage. but i dont think he would have put a dent in kostya and i also think that if hatton faught mayweather instead of tszyu on that night he would have smashed him in 2.
Decision win for Mayweather too quick too good of boxer for KT in all respect for KT.Originally Posted by porkypara
Are you kidding the Hatton who couldn't take Collazo out or the last joke he fought? Mayweather would beaten prime Tszyu let alone the KOstya that fought Hatton.Originally Posted by jbirdy
I think FM would be the favorate but I think KT would have a good chance the way he picks his shots and walks opponents down.
Judh caught FM with a few shots and KT hits much harder than him so he would be dangerous for as long as the fight lasted.

Judah is much faster than KT though thats difference Mayweather would beat KT he is too good for him imo.
Ha ha ha, Hatton would never beat Floyd. Definately not in 2. Floyd probably would have stopped him. Floyd looked alot more impressive that week.Originally Posted by jbirdy
UD for Floyd. Tszyu has the power, but wasn't conditioned enough, and would get outpointed.Originally Posted by porkypara

Yes, I know. But he wasn't the same after that lay off. I know Hatton wore him down, but Tszyu was gonna fade late anyway. Hatton and camp structured their gameplan based on that. A few years back, a fight with Floyd, or hatton could have gone alot different. Age has caught our man Kostya, IMO.Originally Posted by porkypara
tzsyu doesnt hit harder then judah!!!!!Originally Posted by porkypara
he just landed a lucky punch that slammed judahs head into the ground, other then that his big accomplishment is beating up on old man chavez after ODH
Oh come on Sal i know your big fan of Judah but KT hits alot harder than Judah if KT would of landed as many shots as Judah did in early going of Mayweather fight Mayweather would of lost no question but KT wouldn't land as many shots because Judah is quickerOriginally Posted by SalTheButcher
But it wasn't lucky punch on Judah KT was on his way to winning 2nd round and Judah but his hands down and got tkoed and thats what you get for putting your hands down against big puncher like KT.
tszyus power is insanely overrated, and judahs is insanely underrated
Maybe but KT hits harder than Judah no question and Judah isn't underrated i think people know he has got talent but he has had chances at top level quite few times and has failed and if he can't win Cotto fight he is done as fighter.Originally Posted by SalTheButcher
Sorry just read what you said again my mistake thought you said Judah was underrated not his power ignore most of what i said above![]()
Judah's style is the style to beat Floyd's. If they were to fight a rematch today, I think Judah would have a stronger chance at beating Floyd than anyone else. (Except maybe Mosley)
And the reason he was able to tag him early a number of times in their fight was because he was able to match Floyd for speed. You need quickness to surprise him with shots he won't see.
So to say because Judah caught Floyd, KT would've caught him too, is crazy
KT doesn't have the necessary speed needed to catch Floyd flush. Sure he's got the power, but Floyd will see and roll anything he's got.
Floyd would pepper him all night at will on route to a Gatti type beatdown. (Maybe not as onesided as the Gatti fight, but it'd be a lopsided victory)
In theory, he has the strength to walk him down all night. But I don't know how much merit that theory holds up.
Because everyone says they're gonna walk down Floyd.
But they never do it.
It's not gratifying moving in on him when every time you try, you're getting nailed.
And even if Floyd probably wouldn't knock KT out, he'd beat down on his confidence all night.
And a hesitant opponent is an easy opponent for Floyd.
He's done it all his career.
