yes its true pac looks like he has the most flaws and not as technical as floyd and winky, but with his power relentless and heart, that can be overwhelming for even the best of technician out there. just ask p4p'ders mab morales and jmm.
If those three fight we know pac will get hit, but pac takes that deal just to hit you back, and p4p we could agree pac hits harder then floyd and winky, I think he'll take one to give back 2, you can be all technical but pac will be on your face all night and he doesn't stop. It will take more then skills to beat pac, u need heart too.
its easy to say pac will lose to floyd or winky, but if all three where same weight thier whole carreer, goddamn image a middle weight or heavyweight pacman, power, speed, relentless and great stamina? I would agree to some who think pac will lose to floyd and winky because of the size difference. but for sure if pac was a middleweight or heavyweight he'd look unstoppable now in his prime, great chin great heart great stamina great speed great power RELENTLESS, For 12 long rounds of fighting I'd take that over technical skills anyday.
i can see pac beating down winky if they where both middleweights, winky would stand in front of pac and standing infront of pac is not a good idea no matter how technical you are, GREAT OFFENSE BEATS GREAT DEFENSE ALL THE TIME.
floyd would be the hard fight because floyd wont stand infront of pac, he do his famous hit and run move, but for 12 long rounds pac will be on his a**. if they were both natural welterweights, pacs power and relentless will be scary for pretty boy, if floyd can't stay on his bike and if he lays on the rope like with oscar pac is going to massacre him like he said he'd do against oscar.
its easy to say pac will lose, but for sure it wont be easy for anyone to actually do. for a fighter with flaws pac don't lose easy, you have to go through hell thats for sure. you guys remember that.
I dont have a problem with your opinion, but saying if Pac was a Middle, Heavyweight etc. Is a stretch. You can say the same about PBF, Cotto, Calzaghe, Taylor, Hopkins etc. Styles make fights Pac aint the end all be all.
Pac has been Sparked out 2x hasnt he?
yea he has been k.o'ed twice,(lowblow, and from weight drained) but considering that, after how improve his been is pretty stupid don't you think?
Re: You Still Feel Pac Should Be #1 PFP Over The Pretty Boy?
See the thing is the little guys will alwais look more impressive than the big guys with regards to speed and stamina. The main reason for this is well....the weight, they just have less weight to move around and when you have great strength and little weight your gonna look pretty damn impressive when you move around.
The point is if Pacman was a middleweight or a heavy weight he would also be alot slower and if he faught at the same pase as he does now, he would not last 12 rounds. ;)
Re: You Still Feel Pac Should Be #1 PFP Over The Pretty Boy?
I'll always be a huge fan of Pacman, but Floyd has had that #1 P4P spot locked down for AT LEAST since Bernard lost to Taylor the first time. A lot of the severly anti-Floyd people tried to spin Pac into the #1 P4P above Floyd, but really I think you'd have to be pretty biased to buy it.
Pac is a wonderful fighter and an absolute treat to watch, but Floyd is on a totally different level than him.

:coolclick: #21 :appl: Nothing more to say than that

Just this year...
PBF fought a 34 year old down the hill fighter and won by a boring UD.
Pac fought a younger prime, hungrier, undefeated, (bigger also like ODH) and won by impressive 8 round KO.
KO's or TKO's are like touchdowns of NFL, homeruns of MLB, and slam dunks of NBA. They're more exciting to watch.
PBF is good, but I still pick Pac for current p4p best fighter.
Peace...

I can tell by your screen name that you are completely unbiased ::**
Being exciting doesn't make a guy better than anyone else. By that logic shouldn't Gatti be top 5 P4P? It has absolutely no relevance when discussing who the better fighter is.

Yep him and Diego would have been 1 and 2 on the PFP list
Re: You Still Feel Pac Should Be #1 PFP Over The Pretty Boy?
Well by virtue of Manny fighting a relative unknown in Solis Floyd fighting Oscar,Floyd is easily P4P number 1 at the moment BUT if Manny fights JMM next, and wins,Manny easily takes it back imo. Especially if,hypothetically speaking,Manny beat JMM well in a rematch and Floyd beat Oscar i a rematch,I'd easily have Manny first.
As it stands though,Floyd easily and the prospects of a Manny JMM fight are slim at the moment.

LOL!
Well, if PBF elevated himself above Pac,...
Then MAYBE I would change my screen name too "PrettyBoy".
I like both fighters.

I don't care who Pac beats, unless it's PBF. Short of that, the only thing that puts him at #1 is completely reworking himself so he (a) has balance and (b) has defense -- among other things. I don't understand how beating JMM would prove anything about Pac versus Floyd. Floyd is MUCH better than JMM.
I've said this numerous times: despite the fact that they fought their last fights four divisions apart, Pac and PBF came into their respective rings at almost exactly the same weights. Pac beat a nobody 130-pounder. PBF beat Oscar de law Hoya at Jr. Middleweight. There's no comparison. Moreover, given that they've weighed essentially the same amount, you don't have to hypothesize much to think about what it would look like if you put them in the ring together. And in that matchup, I honestly don't see Pac winning a single round. I see him getting KO'd well within 6.
Re: You Still Feel Pac Should Be #1 PFP Over The Pretty Boy?
We gonna sticky this so that I can legit modify the P4P list.
Pac fans or not...Floyd is the superior fighter.

Now why don't you mention the names of both fighters and quality of careers and see how much a difference that makes... ;)

Floyd IS the superior fighter but just by looking at that, then guys like Jerman Taylor should not be in the top 10 P4P because he is only in it for his wins BUT we look at competition too,not just skills. If its just skills,Shane Mosley is top 5.
And don't have such a short memory,I could just argue that a win over an old Oscar,is NOWHERE NEAR AS IMPRESSIVE AS THE demolition of an ATG in MAB,as the destruction and pounding of another legend as Erik Morales and the draw with the superb AND P4P JMM. Thats 3 P4Pers and 2 HOF,possibly atg.
And Floyd started at what,130? Manny started at 112. Hey,I'm not a huge Pacfan and I'm starting to like PBF more and more but I thin I'm in the middle, too many fans like 1 guy or the other too much. It obscures their vision, they become too biased.
like I said,Floyd is P4P number 1 right now but if Manny manages to fight JMM and beat him concisively,he'll be number 1 in my and mosts eyes. I'm not going to hold Manny's balance issues against him when he is wrecking world class opponents. And take into account he is improving too.
I'd favour Floyd at 130 if they were to fight but there is NO WAY he is stopping Manny. Manny would be the fastest, hardest hitting most determined fighter he would have ever fought. If Floyd tried to lay on the ropes v Manny,he would get absolutely annihilated. Floyd would be hot favourite but lets not make him out to be some demi god.
Fkiyd P4P number 1 easily right now for sure, but like I said,P4P number 1 can be hotly contested in a number of ways. And let's not forget what a win for B Hop or Winky would mean ;)

Obviously Jorge Solis was unheard fighter until he ran into Pac.
Pac was a nobody until he ran into champs like Lebwaba and Barrera. He defeated them both convincingly by KO.
Bigger and fully motivated Solis failed to do what Pac accomplished.
Pac defeated below 30s future hall of famers. PBF defeated a mid 30s future hall of famer.
A prime DeLa Hoya would whoop PBF's butt.
Pac vs PBF match up is rediculous. There's no way that will happen.
That is NOT how you rate p4p raking.

I disagree. I guarantee you The Ring, for instance, won't elevate Manny to #1 P4P even if he KOs JMM in 15 seconds.
