Default You Still Feel Pac Should Be #1 PFP Over The Pretty Boy?

So its been over a week, Plenty of Time to digest May 5th, the dust has Settled and the question needs to be asked has Floyd by moving up and claiming the 154 title and defeating the Great Oscar Delahoya, merited his PFP#1 Status and sway all those who Bumped him for the Pac-Man?

Though I liked the caterpillar option, had to go with Floyd @ #1.
I'm just here to see how the people who said Floyd is biting off way more than he can chew at 154 vote.

I don't know how Floyd moving up yet another division way past his natural weight and winning what I saw as a wide decision could possibly result in him falling from his P4P perch. I still don't understand why anyone thought Pac should even move ahead of Winky for the #2 spot. Pac is great to watch--I love him. But he is CLEARLY the most flawed and technically unsound of these three fighters, and if they were all fighting at the same weight (which again, is not out of the question for Pac & Floyd, given that they weighed WITHIN ONE POUND of each other in the ring in their last fights), Pac would get totally dominated by either of them.

Seriously. Pac and Floyd both weighed 147-148 in their last fights. Does anyone truly believe if you put them in the ring together Pac would win a single round? I'd bet on Mayweather KO4 -- Pac's small enough to feel Floyd's power (remember, Floyd KO'd the majority of his opponents at the lower weights).

CC. Pac is dynamite but he's ALWAYS out of position. He's got the heart of a lion but sooner or later, all that punishment he takes will wear him down. There was a time when MAB and EM were thought to be invincible and now look at them. You can't take punishment forever. And I don't think anyone will disagree that even though Manny is winning, he does take a little too much punishment.

Floyd deserves to be #1....especially after Pac's last outting.

I wasn't impressed with him at all.

Pac should never have been number 1 in the first place.

I agree that he should have never been ahead of Floyd, but many out voted Floyd in favor of the Pac-Man in our latest PFP list....

Thats pretty much why I started this thread in addition to collecting thoughts on the subject

Does everyone agree that if Winky beats B-Hop he gets his #2 spot back? (I don't agree that he ever lost it, but apparently I'm in the minority there.)

Pac is a very exciting fighter to watch but there is no doubt Mayweather is P4P the best fighter in the world.

No. I don't think Pac should be #1. I maintain that Winky is #1. You're very rude. Enjoy your spaghetti.

wow i know i'm on a thread with floyd fans but i gotta represent my boi pac.

yes its true pac looks like he has the most flaws and not as technical as floyd and winky, but with his power relentless and heart, that can be overwhelming for even the best of technician out there. just ask p4p'ders mab morales and jmm.

If those three fight we know pac will get hit, but pac takes that deal just to hit you back, and p4p we could agree pac hits harder then floyd and winky, I think he'll take one to give back 2, you can be all technical but pac will be on your face all night and he doesn't stop. It will take more then skills to beat pac, u need heart too.

its easy to say pac will lose to floyd or winky, but if all three where same weight thier whole carreer, goddamn image a middle weight or heavyweight pacman, power, speed, relentless and great stamina? I would agree to some who think pac will lose to floyd and winky because of the size difference. but for sure if pac was a middleweight or heavyweight he'd look unstoppable now in his prime, great chin great heart great stamina great speed great power RELENTLESS, For 12 long rounds of fighting I'd take that over technical skills anyday.

i can see pac beating down winky if they where both middleweights, winky would stand in front of pac and standing infront of pac is not a good idea no matter how technical you are, GREAT OFFENSE BEATS GREAT DEFENSE ALL THE TIME.

floyd would be the hard fight because floyd wont stand infront of pac, he do his famous hit and run move, but for 12 long rounds pac will be on his ass. if they were both natural welterweights, pacs power and relentless will be scary for pretty boy, if floyd can't stay on his bike and if he lays on the rope like with oscar pac is going to massacre him like he said he'd do against oscar.

its easy to say pac will lose, but for sure it wont be easy for anyone to actually do. for a fighter with flaws pac don't lose easy, you have to go through hell thats for sure. you guys remember that.

I dont have a problem with your opinion, but saying if Pac was a Middle, Heavyweight etc. Is a stretch. You can say the same about PBF, Cotto, Calzaghe, Taylor, Hopkins etc. Styles make fights Pac aint the end all be all.

Pac has been Sparked out 2x hasnt he?

Floyd holds the #1 spot. If Winky beats BHOP, then Winky makes a strong statement for at least the #2 spot. If Pac beats JMM, and then moves up to 135, and takes a belt or two, then he makes a strong statement. That's just my opinion. As it stands right now, Floyd is clearly #1.
