$10m to fight over here can't see that happening can you guys hope this is'nt Hattons way of getting out of it because he knows Mayweather won't come over here for that plus fight would make more in Vegas.Plus Hatton should go to Mayweather he is number 1

lol. Yeah, I agree with Daxx, but it's not about what they need really. This is all about pride. In the end, Hatton will likely end up going there. Floyd isn't a man of his word though. Remember a few months back when Floyd said "Ricky Hatton is just a fat man, I'm gunna punch him in his beer belly" and he also said "I'm retired in the US, but I never said anything about the UK."

My previous point was more in jest about the excuse, although my money is with my boy Ricky.

why would the fight make more in vegas? would be same PPV buys... be on the same time... Wembley seats like 80k more.. don't see how this would make more money there than in the uk tbh

Because Preme as we know with Calzaghe and Kessler with daft offers fights don't happen so if they make Mayweather a daft offer he will turn it down and the fight is off unless they come with a better offer.Your not daft you knew what i was getting at

Thing is we all know the fight is going to take place in the US with something like an 75% - 25% split for Floyd, hand picked judges and Jay fucking Nady refereing in a 400 foot ring with Floyd wearing them big clown gloves he wore for the Judah fight....you know like them big inflatable ones you have at birthday parties.

Seriously tho, did mayweather not only 3 months ago say 'i'm retired from boxing in america, i'll happily go over to the UK and punch Hatton in his big fat beer belly?'

The Oscar fight didnt prove anything. Oscar is irrelevant. Oscar beat up an inactive Mayorga. This is his only win in 52 years. Floyd was being a smart ass.

I hope this continues to play out in public for us all to see. Ricky rightly gave up the lions share to Tszyu and he will need to do it again. Floyd for his part needs to recognise the fact that it wont be DLH standing across the ring from him so his wage demands have got to be made accordingly. He got 8 mill for Baldozar didnt he? 20ish mill for Oscar? Somewhere in between those to numbers ought to be enough.

You'd think he'd notice that he got a right steal by netting 8 million to fight Baldozar ( i use the word fight losely)....

He's already stated that he has too much money for him and his family to ever spend so i don't see why he should snarl at 10million.

After the De La Hoya fight i'm sure he said he was retired from America but not from England because he wants to come over and punch Hatton in his fat belly!

How many other fighters have beat the man in his weight, unified against another title holder, moved up a weight straight in to a title challenge with a respected southpaw, then moved back down straight in to another title challenge then defend against another respected legend.

Floyd fought gatti and Corly at light welter ::** moved up to fight a former light middle coming off a devastating loss to the very fighter Floyd avoided ::** he then fought another fighter coming off a loss and got dropped ::** he then fought a journeyman with 9 losses who made his name by fighting no marks ::** then he ran ::** and if hes got any sense, he'll keep running ;D

Floyd and his advisers said sign the contract and now they have been offered the same as he got for fighting Oscar.

I wonder what his excuse will be?
