Re: do boxing help build mucles
If you want to build mass, as others on here have stated you are going to be looking at doing resistance training of some kind. To really bulk up you want to be doing heavy weight low reps and getting a lot of protein in everyday.
Push-ups and russian twists and other body resistance exercises are great, but you can up the intensity by
adding weight find something heavy and do squats and curls with it (jugs of water are great to start with)
Once you get to the point that you muscles are sore don't work that muscle group again until they feel healed. Sleeping 7-8 hours a night will help as well.

just noticed you edited your post, with the egg white bit, the egg white is going to have no effect on your muscles unless your eating about 30 egg whites a day, to build lean muscle you want to be getting thru 1.5g protien to every lbs of your body weight.
what if i take 8 egg whites and a big glass of soya milk. is it enough.lean muscles ok what about the size of the muscles, will it increase.
8 whites will mean you are getting 25g of protein and a glass of soya milk has about 8grams, so thats only 33g of protein, i usually eat between 250 and 300g of protein a day
How? That's a lot of protein man. That's equivalent to 7 of the protein shakes I drink.
you would be suprised how quick it adds up during the day, i have my eggs in the morning with my protien shake, then i eat every 3 hours, only small meals like a tin of tuna with broccoli or a skinless chicken breast on wholegrain bread, then i have a protien shake with my main meal at around tea time, then another shake before bed

How do you manage to eat 300g or protein a day? When i started lifting weights alot i was trying to keep to 300g a day but it was fworking hard. I was taking protien milkshakes and eating a stupid amount of chicken a day, i couldnt hack it in the end.
