so say you smoked Weed on a social basis, you wouldnt get the job? I dont but alot of my mates do and for that to effect there chances of employment would be harsh.

Plus, some banks (like the one I'm currently in the hiring process with) will check your credit as part of the background check.
Yes we have the cradit rating with most companies involved with Finance, but the Hair thing imo is a bit over the top? How long has this been in oparation? Saying that no doubt we will employ the same tests in the next few years.

I don't think I'd have ever gotten a job if they had those here in Canada. If you're sure you're going to fail, you could try telling them you can't let them do it for religious reasons. That would probably work better here than in the states though.

Do they actually pluck they hair or can you fake "pluck" your own and use a clean strain of someone elses hair?
That is pretty extreme they use the hair test..they must be really paranoid. I think the majority of jobs will just use a urine test. There's lots of ways to get around the urine test.

Bilbo I would have ignored your silly comments but you need to know that you are being ignorant and offensive. Just because someone looks different to you does not mean that they are inferior to you or dirty. You probably have no Sikh friends but if you did, you would know they are clean and decent people just like everyone else.

I remember the last time I had a hair test.
I guess it all depends on what they are looking for.
Weed is the thing that stays in your system the longest.
If I recall, 3 months and your are clean from weed.
I had smoked weed just about 3 months before the test and I came up clean.
I had done coca and heroine about a month before the test and nothing happend.
Again, I don't know what they were testing for but I passed the test and got the job.
Good luck.
You can always shave everything including your eyebrows and you can tell them you are part of the Zab Judah cult.
