Re: Pavlik v Winky@160: who wins and how>?
He has had most of his fights at Light middle weight when he was the bigger man and in the upper wieghts he has had a draw and lost to Bernard and that to me is alright but he has lost something in coming up in weight he had no power to begin with and him fighting at higher weights will not help him at all in my view and Pavlik is just not the fighter that Winky should go with he should fight Jermain and finish that debatable draw and get some closer
Re: Pavlik v Winky@160: who wins and how>?
The only thing that cost Taylor the fight was him stupidly keeping his left hand low, until then he was clearly winning the fight with his faster hands and combinations, Winky is technically on another level to Pavlik and with his superb defense he will no doubt get under Pavlik's skin, Pavlik must be one of the most one dimensional fighters out there, take away the right hand (which Winky is more than capable of doing in his southpaw stance) and what has he got?, he doesn't put combinations together and his punches are slow as hell, Winky picks his shots as good as anyone else and is brilliant on the inside where i feel he'd get the better of Pavlik, Winky wouldn't make the mistake of backing up on the ropes either,
Winky by UD
Re: Pavlik v Winky@160: who wins and how>?
I think Pavlik could back Wright up he does not have the power to trade with him and his chin would get test big time if he starts getting hit with the right and i think if Pavlik attacks to the body he can make winky lower his hands and then be open to be put away Winky has not been in the ring with a guy with Pavlik's power, reach and height i mean he's most notable wins are against a guy who is Natural a Lightweight and never should of fought at light middle Winky would get worn down and if he makes it he will lose a Ud i still think he gets stopped at rounds of 11 or 12 to be truthful
