I'm a huge fan of Winky and overall I think that he is a much more well-rounded fighter. However, Pavlik has power and size on his side and a shitload of determination as well. It would come down to Winky's defense vs Pavlik's offense. I definately think that Pavlik has the power to hurt and possible stop Winky (which pains me to say), but if Winky can fight a smart fight for 12 rounds he could eek out a decision. Honestly Pavlik might be too big and strong for Winky but I could also see Winky's defense carrying the fight as Pavlik misses all night. Pavlik also has a huge size and reach advantage over Winky.
My pick is Pavlik, who is behind on all scorecards (legitimately this time), by TKO in the late rounds as Winky tires, slows down, and is overwhelmed by Pavlik's power and workrate.

He has shown increased willingness(?) Necessity to Come in and force fight In His last few fights Hes taken alot of damage and relies less on superior defense in company with sharp jab and good short punches Ecsp.body work and has seemed to..how dare I..Lost a step!If he stands In and thinks that the bend at the waist land two take one stuff will carry the day vs.Pavlik,He get KO'd.He must get back to accurate jab and quality combos & knowing when to utilize that busy punching AND awkward defensive mastery style.Winky Has a quality chin in career but with his talent that should not be so obvious.

I agree with this. Winky is always going to look good and boxing. Yeah he may lose points but it is the same man night in and night out. If Pavlik thought he would fluster Wink and bust through his shield he should know better. Pavlik beat Winky's seconds, that is all.

I agree as well. Winky frustrates Pavlik most of the night and makes him look sloppy. The only reason Pavlik wins this is because of his work rate. Winky's not going to be able to block all the shots and even the ones he takes on the arms are still going to hurt and drain him. Remember how much trouble Soliman's constant pressure gave Winky... Pavlik gets a TKO late... 11 or 12.

Look Winky has never faced a guy with the size and power and reach that Pavlik has and age is also on Pavlik side i can see he winning on points or maybe a stoppage in the later rounds Probably 11 or 12 but come on now who has Winky fought that is anything like Pavlik
