Re: In the Aftermath of Hatton vs Mayweather
I can't see Floyd retiring if Hatton beats him. Would almost definately be a rematch{isn't there one in the clause right now?} as Floyd wouldn't be able to deal with losing to this guy, and would never hear the end of it from people, especially his dad I would imagine. I hope he does lose, just to see how he handles it, especially to Hatton.

I can't see Floyd losing so fuck knows what he'd do (somewhere next year the Oscar rematch must be on the cards).
Hatton will take a long break if he loses.
If Hatton loses reasonably, he can cling to the "I've always said that Floyd was the best figter in the world and I just gave him his toughest fight" position.
If Hatton loses badly, Hatton and all his fans will probably adopt the "Ricky is not a 147er" rationale.
Either way, Hatton has fights avail. Remember, Hatton-Witter is EFFIN' HUGE at Wembley.

Cos mate when SSM decided to box instead of brawl he was a lot more effective. Cotto only beat Mosely by a round or two, and PBF thinks he is and probably is a better fighter than SSM at the moment. Therefore he'd be confident of beating Cotto. If Cotto had destroyed Mosely, he'd have been less sure.
Makes perfect sense.
Re: In the Aftermath of Hatton vs Mayweather
Yea but Cotto might change his game plan for PBF i doubt he fight the same. Plus if he did Pressure and use that jab he give PBF problems a older Oscar when using his jab gave PBf problems i like Cotto jab even more and i think with perssure and a jab he may beat PBf.

He may well beat PBF, but what im saying is that I bet PBF is very confident of beating Cotto cos Shanes boxing skills and speed gave Miguel problems and floyd is more skilled and faster than SSM.
Re: In the Aftermath of Hatton vs Mayweather
Mayweather WILL not lose this fight.
Re: In the Aftermath of Hatton vs Mayweather
If Floyd lost there would definitely be a rematch. Going into this fight Floyd has more to lose than Hatton. If he lost I think we would see the best of Floyd for another 2 or 3 years as he tries to rebuild his legacy by fighting & beating the best guys around!
A lose for Hatton would not be as disastrous, he can still drop back to 140 & make some great fights. He could also stay at 147 & fight the other top guys. It all depends on the outcome. A KO or clinic lose would greatly effect his earning potential. A close or disputed lose leaves the door wide open for future super-fights!
