Miranda does look ripped, but he always looks ripped, and as we had seen, looking ripped didn't help him against Pavlik.
I think that I'm leaning towards Abraham, he showed a lot of heart, and guts, in their last fight. You have to wonder how he'll do in the rematch without that constant pain, and the mental aspects that go along with it.
You are right man, bodies dont win fights! (otherwise Pavlik would be a bum!! ;D )
But I tell you there is a huge difference in his body now compared to the weigh in with Pavlik. He looked sick a dried out there. He wasnt sweating in light training at all. Now his skin looks good and he sweats easily, even after a couple of minute of shadow boxing.
It really is incredible what you can do with the right nutriention mixed in with the proper conditioning. I will tell you right now, Miranda is in the best shape of his life. We will really see what he is all about in the ring on Saturday.

I guess you're right there. ;D
But it won't last long, you know that Bilbo has a hard time staying away from his "Precious". He'll grow old, and languish without it. :p
Ha Ha true enough.
In your original post you said you didn't know who you'd pick in this one, but I presume you're shouting for Miranda right?
Actually, right now, I'm slightly leaning towards Abraham, because he won't have to deal with the broken jaw, plus he wants to make a statement for the US audience in order to get some bigger fights over here.
I give him a lot of credit for fighting with that pain, and risking even more serious damage. I had a broken jaw once, and I don't think that I could have done it, I don't know how many could have.
This is where I am at today, but like I said, I'm still debating this one in my head, so I could change my mind by fight time.

Hey Pantera I sent you a PM bro did you get it. It was about the miranda fight this weekend.
Re: Miranda ripped and ready!
I'm a big Arthur Abraham fan...so I'm sticking here...even though I feel Miranda has a huge ax to grind & probably will.
I'm hoping that he may actually punish a gun shy Abraham (who is still dwelling on that past jaw breaking) but after a few rounds...I have faith that Arthur will use his skills & will to weather through the storm.
Abraham by late TKO.
Maybe...heh heh heh.
Alright bitches...I'll say it before you can :
Way to ride that fence Wacko!
:lickish:
Re: Miranda ripped and ready!
.....arthur are you sure this is a good idea for your first fight here ???!!!
Re: Miranda ripped and ready!
I think Miranda will take this, I just dont know how... Abraham is polished more and technically sound, were as Pantera is a banger and is usually looking for the KO.. I'm a huge Miranda fan and I will root for him, but he needs to keep it together this time and not give into frustration, at least he dosent have to deal with a biased commision this time

6 lbs... thats how;D
Re: Miranda ripped and ready!
Miranda always look ripped.
Re: Miranda ripped and ready!
Miranda wins if he can catch Abraham coming forward. Miranda should try to counter to the best of his ability. I notice that Abraham comes in face first like Hatton and he is wide open when he does it. Just got to time him with a uppercut and he will be in a bad way.

Re: Miranda ripped and ready!
Sorry i haven't been following boxing what weight is this again ?? if its at Middleweight i think Miranda could be in some trouble. I don't think Middleweight is his natural weight, and i think he would fare much better at Super Middleweight.

Ahh not too bad then since Miranda has moved up he has looked fresher and has a made few improvements, i think he will be too strong for Abraham again especially at catchweight. Abraham is tough as nails and i said Miranda would win 12 UD, but i watched there first fight again and i thought about the fight once again and i'll say Miranda wins by TKO late. But after this fight Miranda should stay at Super Middleweight he could beat anyone at that weight class except Kessler IMO. And there is many exciting fights to be made at Super Middleweight, Miranda vs Bika, Miranda vs Andrade, Miranda vs Froch etc.
Re: Miranda ripped and ready!
I'm probably over simplifying things here but if Miranda couldn't stop him with a broken jaw I'm not sure why he would do it this time.
Then again Abraham's a much better matchup for Miranda than Pavlik.
I still haven't made a conclusive pick, I'll probably change my mind a few times before Friday.
