Re: What do u think is Zab's should do if he loses to Joshua
Judah was able to weather losses to Mayweather and Cotto cuz they were elite fighters. Clottey is not. Judah loses and he's done. No more HBO and no more ShowTime. It'll be ESPN only. And he knows it. Which is why he won't lose. I'm expecting a big performance by Judah in this one.

i think he should take one last fight, move down one weight class, and maybe try to fight david diaz?
He lost to him twice in like 1996 and i believe he should atleast try to fight him one last time. (i think he'll do better one weight down anyway cause he cant compete with these welterweights nowadays)
I've always said he should move back down to 140 if he can. IMO he can for certain win a belt at that weight class and do well at that weight class. And as for this match up i think Clottey takes it by late TKO.
Re: What do u think is Zab's should do if he loses to Joshua
If Zab loses again he's finished.
Simple as, end of.
He's been given more chances than anybody, but he just hasn't capitalised.
Re: What do u think is Zab's should do if he loses to Joshua
I think if he could make 140 he would of moved back down already.

Yes he is; well hopefully.
If Zab loses I was hoping he'd go away, but I see a couple of tune-up fights on ESPN then getting another title shot.....again.
I don't see why Berto isn't put in with Zab; at least if he loses to Clottey. He'l' be nothing but a gatekeeper as far as I'm concerned. He could always fight Yoel in the shower again;D
But see that's the problem. If he loses he gets to fight for another belt? Whether Berto is ready for it or not, he's a champ now and Zab's upward-failing streak has to be broken if he loses to Clottey. Clottey won't knock him out, by the way, but he will beat him up. Zab is gonna look perty for about 5 rounds but he'll turn into a dud when he sees all that speed and power not doing anything for him.

I would happily take a sig bet on this, unless you're scared.
I already got a user name change bet on the line with the Rock.
I'm sooo gonna clean house on this fight.
Re: What do u think is Zab's should do if he loses to Joshua
the only thing he can do if he was too lose....... retire.

I honestly forgot Berto has a belt now:rolleyes: My bad.
Re: What do u think is Zab's should do if he loses to Joshua
I'm not sure what he should do....but i know what he would do. The same thing he always does, he'll say he gave it his all, and will be back even better, then ask for a title shot. Zab usuallly bases his future not on wheather he wins or not, but on brief spots of fights where he does look like pfp best, he just can't make it last a whole fight. They'll have to eventually ban this cat like holyfield before he decides to give it up. Probably daniel too.

On the winner? I've never done a sig bet before, but you are absolutely on. It'll be a repeat of him shitting the bed against Mayweather. Zab is going to look great- speed + power, but Clottey has a chin from hell and the guy jogs up to 20 miles at a time, he won't gas out. Clottey's speed isn't bad, either, he'll get some good shots in early, but he won't turn off like the street lights in the dawn, he'll keep on.
Oh man, I just looked at Judah's record and I'm even more convinced. He couldn't even make the welter limit in his last two fights against guys with shitty records. Acelino Freitas, Wilfredo Negron and and Ricardo Torres all knocked Edwin Vazquez out at lower weight classes and Zab couldn't take out an old man with 12 losses and 22 victories. At least you can understand him not being able to take out Ryan Davis who's a legit LMW, but he's 20-8-2. How are either of these guys who have been knocked out due preparation for Joshua Clottey? A guy, so far as I know, who has never been knocked down. Those fights were nothing but confidence builders and Clottey is not a guy you fight after you get your confidence back. Clottey is a 'next step' guy.
Yes, I will take your bet. Let's name some terms and get this on.
Re: What do u think is Zab's should do if he loses to Joshua
If Zab loses he should blame it on his promoter, say he didn't have enough time to prepare, and complain that he was prepared for Mosley not Clottey.
Then state that he's still the top P4P guy out there. ;D
Re: What do u think is Zab's should do if he loses to Joshua
Retire, he's done if he loses. he should have went to 140 as it aint the strongest division.
Re: What do u think is Zab's should do if he loses to Joshua
If he loses he should just retire.
His problems aren't the kind that can really be fixed, you either have it mentally or you don't. He is the prime example that physical gifts aren't everything. Look at someone like Mayweather, all the physical gifts in the world but one of the best boxing minds out there. Then you look at Judah probably just as physically talented but doesn't have the mind to go with it, he also has the wrong trainer in his corner. But if Judah was ever going to make a move to improve he should have done it 3 years ago. It's a little late now. If he loses to Clottey which is a good possibility then he should just retire. Even if he went to 140 I don't think he'd have enough time to actually earn his way down there before he could even fight someone like Hatton.
Re: What do u think is Zab's should do if he loses to Joshua
I keep saying this everytime he fights, "this is his last chance"!
I'm more inclined to wonder what will he do if he wins?
Surely he won't go for Cotto again, he would get beaten up a second time, so who would he fight? Berto? I don't think he can make 140lb so a Hatton or even Pacman fight is out the equation, i think Judah has problems win or lose!

Cool..... It's a bet.
Don't forget............ Zab Judah has been training to fight Shane Mosley not Joshua Clottey up until somewhat recently. He's gonna show up in perfect shape and 1000% focused
