German boxing has always carried a black cloud, but this guy is different, the antics he has been getting up to are a disgrace, he thinks because he is the promoter he is reffing, judging and running the show, the arguments with the judges was a joke, what is the promoter doing even looking at the judges scorecards, any fighter who goes over to an Arena promotion show, do so with extreme caution.

Danny has only fought outside the UK a few times, and the ones of any significance are the Loss to Samil Sam, the N/C to Platov in Switzerland (Which he should have won) and the recent win over Konstantin Airich who was 8-0 but taking a massive risk in fighting Williams, am I missing something

I have to say that I don't necessarily agree with his statement above as it was said in quite the bold manner... But I think there are shades of truth to it.
I don't think that German Boxing is the problem per say... I think(as Mick said) it's the commision that needs to straighten this shit out... It's rather rediculous and I actually HAVE seen this tool mascarading around like he owns the fuckin joint... Seriously... Ringing the bell? He should have been escorted out and fined.
As far as What was said above, the reason I say this holds a little truth is the fact that I have heard on countless occasions that fighters won't go back to Germany to fight(I love this cuz if the money's right most would fight on the moon)
I personally think that these problems with scoring, judges, whack ass promoters, and gift decisions could all be stemmed by a good commision which Germany(alone with many other places) is lacking.

Well...so far there has been alot of Germany talk,but lets not forget that the two fight in question weren't even held in Germany and that the promoter in question is a Turk...
And remember that Germany after the US has probably the biggest boxing market right now...so people look in the past where there have been some shady decisions in a small developing market...and pounce on even the slightest fault or are biased enough to see faults where none exist these days...and totally oversee the majority of good decisions...

Understood and good points. I was actually being very broad and not just pointing out those two fights but I get your point.
I also agree with faults overshadowing the vast majority of good decisions but it's kind of human nature... Not to long ago Joe Cortez was thought of as one of the best in the game... Try to pass that off now.
All I'm saying is that with more and more "money" fighters(what I mean by that is that the money is in the heavier weights and most of these guys are no longer American, but European) becoming more dominant outside the US more title fights are taking place outside of the US... Namely Germany due to champions rightly wanting to fight in their backyard. This is precisely why they need a tight commision.
Anyway, good points and I see exactly what you're saying.

Both are fighting out of Germany and both promoted by Oner the man with a German promotional licence.
Fair due to Germany i heard they stopped sanctioning his promotions, but he still give German boxing a bad name.
Kind of went down hill when Sven Otkke got a belt, he was that rubbish he needed the referee and judges to help him out in virtually every big fight.

My friend who is German said that Airich was being touted by the Casters as the next big thing and even has a column in one of Germanys biggest papers.
And id Platov is promoted by Sauerland that means the cancer that was German boxing is coming back.
By that i mean corruption is not confined to Ohner.

Never even heard of Airich............
He had a pretty exciting if a bit corrupt fight with Danny Williams a few weeks ago...Fight had everything... knockdowns, standing eight counts,fouls,a broken hand,an incompetent ref and of course the famous after 1.30 minutes bell to end the rnd...
Seriously if you haven't seen it try to download it...its totally worth it...
