Foreman fought Evander Holyfield, Michael Moorer, Lou Savarese, Tommy Morrison, Axel Shultz, Shannon Briggs, Pierre Coetzer, Bert Cooper, and Alex Stewart all past the age of 40 which is alot more impressive than Hopkins beating Pavlik, a fighter who is impressive but was moving up in weight to fight Hopkins.
I was giving you names of people he fought after 40 not saying if he wont or not. He still got in the ring with guys waaaaay younger than himself and either won or still held his own.
I hear ya .I actually enjoyed watching his comeback, perked my interest in the sport a bit.It had sort of a circus feel, and he was afforded some softies big time but to take that long of a hiatus and comeback for an entire 'second' career was solid stuff. He was a master marketer, knew how to maximize his appeal and make the headlines....frigging showman with a telephone poll jab.A bit of the joking stopped after he withstood Holyfield and really gave a good accounting of himself. He was gunning for Tyson in a HUGE way....as good a buisness man as he was a power hitter.I actually think he stood a very good chance at beating Tyson in his comeback as opposed to a 'fantasy' fight and the younger do or die version. He was so much more focused, mentally extremely balanced. We'll never know.......Welcome to the Forum
