good man retire as no,1
Do you mean that Joe would be 46 and 1 because Dawson would tire and do a Hopkins of cowardly crawling around and pretending to be low punched and Joe gets diqualified;D;D;D;D;D;D;D;D;D;D;D
If joe retires good on him I would love to see him fight dawson cause he still seems to have it in him, but I completely can see why he thinks there is no point in that fight. As for him hittin elbows and gloves and slapping it seemed joe had quite a pop on his punches and was landing some nice shots, it wasn't just volume.
If calzaghe wants to stay on, has the hunger to fight on abd beat people he hasn;t fought then Dawson should be number 1 on his list. If he has had enough of boxing then i don't think Dawson has doen enough to be a reason for an ATG to cary on when he has had enough.
I think Calzaghe will wait until after the de la hoya-Pac fight, after pac gets sparked and beaten bad the ring might finaly give him the p4p #1 slot - and that would be the perfect way to walk out. Unles they don;t update it and keep JMM as number 2, although i don't see that happening.
If he retire's then i'll take me hat off to him. He's proved enough to retire on top!One thing i will say is i m hoping he'll fight over here in the U.K for the fans. It'll shut up all the haters of him if he gets it on with Froch.Win or lose against Froch he would get even more respect for stepping up to the plate! It'll be a AWESOME fight and really hard too but it would be one of "IF NOT" the best fight of 2009.Whatever he does he's been a joy to watch and i'll miss him dearly!!!
And thats because his opponents struggle to cope with what he throws at them ... why else would they hide in a shell .. why dont these opponents simply walk through JC if he is so bad ...
ANSWER:
BECAUSE THEY CAN'T ... DON'T YA GET IT ... OR THEY WOULD !!!!

You've been so accurate at predicting the results of Calzaghe fights that this prediction is really worth listening to.
If Calzaghe retires who are you going to start threads about in future? There may well not be a British boxer in the rest of your lifetime good enough for you to be constantly wrong about.
