Chad's just beat an old man in Tarver this coming from a man who's last 2 fights were against old men past there best.

Calzaghe's point, although subtle, was that Dawson is a young natural light heavyweight who hasn't established himself enough to fight Joe. Joe is a natural super middleweight. His last two victories have come against guys who are his size and his age. Dawson would be too much risk for too little reward.
He is an all-time great and he should retire. He is probably the best ever at volume punching.
He's the best at punching arms and gloves![]()

A lot of boxing promoters couldn't match the cheeks of their buttocks. Mickey Duff..
Do you mean that Joe would be 46 and 1 because Dawson would tire and do a Hopkins of cowardly crawling around and pretending to be low punched and Joe gets diqualified![]()
If joe retires good on him I would love to see him fight dawson cause he still seems to have it in him, but I completely can see why he thinks there is no point in that fight. As for him hittin elbows and gloves and slapping it seemed joe had quite a pop on his punches and was landing some nice shots, it wasn't just volume.
You've been so accurate at predicting the results of Calzaghe fights that this prediction is really worth listening to.
If Calzaghe retires who are you going to start threads about in future? There may well not be a British boxer in the rest of your lifetime good enough for you to be constantly wrong about.
good man retire as no,1
