Re: Would you want to be Mayweather?
i would. skills, money, fame, etc. u bet ur ass i would.
Re: Would you want to be Mayweather?
Fuck yeah, I got no real friends now plus I'm broke and unknown.
So would I trade my life of mediocrity and anonymity where I sit indoors doing nothing for a life where I'm a multi millionaire sportsman at the absolute pinnacle of my career?
The answer is yes without a doubt, then I'd immediately retire with my millions and sit indoors doing nothing but now I'd be sitting on a much comfier chair

Bilbo I think you've single-handedly explained why PBF wants to retire lol ;). On the question, as someone who doesn't have a great family relationship, I'd rather have this relationship living in a Hertfordshire private estate than living on a Lewisham council estate as I do now, your family situation isn't defined by money, so yeah I would take that over havin the same shit but being stuck in the 'hood.

I've often thought that about hot women who are groupies of ugly rappers or rock stars. If those guys weren't rich/famous those women wouldn't give them a second look.
Exactly, I wouldnt want people like that around me....well Ill take one of the hot chicks but thats it....just one ;D
LOL, I hear ya Boom & agree!
Re: Would you want to be Mayweather?
No coz he's going straight to hell after life.
Re: Would you want to be Mayweather?
This questioin is about immortality, versus bliss and happiness. "Immortality" being that of floating your name in public beyond the scope of one's natural life, and "happiness" being; of having select people, loved ones, touching and enriching one's life until the day it's for quits.
The true nature of man is to extend its influence to its very maximum. The extent of this influence proportionately dictates the magnitude of its immortality. ... fatherhood, public service, public office, leadership, legendary feats, martyrdom, sainthood and etc.. are examples where one can float one's name. The magnitude achieved and consequent dedication put forth in achieving the same is the one that defines the man.
A no brainer then, everyone should not dismiss a personal situation like that of PBF, the first statement, as disagreeble, for making a name is only for the very blessed, even if it entails at times, being damned from familial bliss.

I don't agree at all with that. The true nature of man is to simply eat, sleep, poop and fornicate. Having heavy influence can often times make these simple tasks more difficult.
Re: Would you want to be Mayweather?
LOL!!!
However, it is a good thing Abe (and other men of importance) saw further than eat, sleep, poop, and fornicate, otherwise we'll have a totally different world today.
