You silly biatch, I don't have a direct hand in this sport so what the phuk are you talking about?
Why not talk about the sorry arse blind judges, corrupt refs and the cheaters who load their gloves or fighters who try to go after midgets, instead of going after me.

He only fights for money now nothing else not legacy, not for the love of the sport nothing. Just look at the Manny Pacquiao fight for example, he had no fire in his belly what so ever. And theres no way a hungry/prime ODLH would of ever quit on his stool.
OK mon, so you disagree. I figured you would. Surprise surprise. DLH only cares about making more money then. And he doesn't really care about the fight. I won't even bring up the health aspect. Whatever.
What do you mean suprise/suprise when have you ever seen me degrade ODLH ? im actually the one that normally defends him but i can't see how you can disagree with my comments.
It's pretty obvious he doesn't love the sport anymore especially when he quit on his stool, and he doesn't care about his legacy anymore. And he doesn't have any fire in his belly anymore, he's been picking on smaller fighters and thats why people have disliked him in the last few years. And thats why people were happy he lost, because he chose the wrong little fighter to pick on.
I don't really know why your bringing up the health aspect, i don't see what thats got to do with ODLH not loving the sport anymore and not caring about his legacy lately and ETC.
I respect him as a fighter for what he done for the sport on his past achievements. I certainly haven't respected him as a fighter in the last few years, and many fans will agree with me.
Surprise surprise is sarcasm. And you sure are degrading DLH now.
OK mon, if you say so. DLH doesn't love the sport , and cares nothing for his legacy. Whatever you say. HInt: that is sarcasm too.
I'd say the health aspect just might have something to do with the joint decision, not to go back into the ring against PAC, and not evidence of his lack of love for the sport, but I suppose you will argue against that too.

All i said was he doesn't care for the sport anymore or his legacy, im not degrading him. I can assure you if i was gonna degrade ODLH you would know about it, i thought i was pretty fair with my comments :-\

I dont remember anybody giving Casamayor any crap for losing to JMM. But Oscar deserved it for picking on the smaller fighter (Pacman). But people here are giving Margarito crap because he was using some kinda plaster that hardens like the shit they use to make casts which is fukkin cheating.

Frankly I'm a little surprised at your point of view on this. I figured you as a guy who is so much in tune with the sport would give a guy like DLH a little more credit. Where I come from, to say a guy like DLH doesn't care for the sport or his legacy, or he only cares about the money, is somewhat degrading, not to mention illogical. But I guess we'll have to agree to disagree on that.
Re: You fucker's take away from the sport...
I agree that one loss does not make a fighter overrated or a fraud. Margarito has beaten Cotto and Cintron because hes a good fighter, not because the guys he beat underperformed or had a off night. Oscar has been boxing his whole life from being an amateur champion to a World Champion on many different occasions against the best in he world. Now that hes on his way down and lost a fight, people say 'well he was just never that good.' It is unfair, and those naysayers are usually people who always suport the fighter of the hour, but when he starts to fade their on to the next superstar of the moment.

Thread title amended - Looked very 'ESB' when opening the main page and seeing that ;)

you cause you're the perfect example of what boxing shouldn't be, you're a little backstabbing, bandwagon jumping, whining reject who seriously needs to get checked for multiple personality disorder, dude, next week you're gonna be all on the Mosley or Berto or whoever the hell's bandwagon singing the same song, you can straight up just kiss my ass
Re: You Guys take away from the sport...
antonio margarito deserves the benefit of the doubt.
Celebrating a victory is the right thing to do, a legend like shane deserves all the credit he earn. Celebrating a warriors defeat is a sour thing to do, especially jumping into conclusion that his a fruad, cheater, etc.
Re: You Guys take away from the sport...
Props to Margarito regardless, he did not duck anyone and is a bullstrong warrior. He may not have an unblemished record but he is a PROVEN fighter and to reiterate NEVER DUCKED anyone. I apologize if I sound like I'm gloating of Shane's victory or still hurtin from Cotto's brutal loss:embarassed:
But I still can't accept the fact that he is a welterweight because in my eyes he is freakin big for that weightclass and should at least attempt to fight at 154 or 160 like Paul Williams.
Re: You Guys take away from the sport...
People are down on Margarito because he did get caught cheating in the worse way you can in boxing. Common sense tells you that he isn't new to this and just got caught on his very first attempt to cheat in this way. That being said, you have look at how long had he done this before he finally got caught? His immediate previous fight was Cotto and this was his most glorifying fight. Of course, with a cheating mentality he would've done this then. Does anyone really believe Margarito hasn't done this in previous fights? I dare that person to stand up and seriously say this. This is why people are saying Margarito was a fraud. He cheater and the fight he gets caught he gets knocked out...badly! I used to be a Margarito fan but he needs suspended because you can ruin a fighter's chances and/or career cheating this way. I boxed for 17 years and I am in disgust at how lightly it is being taken.
Re: You Guys take away from the sport...
Well one thing beglit what does getting knocked out have to do with his hands and lets not forget it is not 100 percent on what was used and what was going on we while find out when the are done investigating it and also lets not jugde him tell they come to us tell us about it.
Re: You Guys take away from the sport...
My only wish would be that the U.S justice system was as brisk and conclusive as many fans are within the span of 24 hours.Judge Judy would be very proud and could take some pointers.Essentially based on info relayed to Commentators with vested interests and three payed members of the opposing camp.A lawyer,Doctor, and trainer. As far as I know up to now....there have been no official statements and/or findings by the Commission and head officials.I'll jump when the real investigation has concluded.....not a knee jerk rash pile on that was kicked off literally at the opening bell last night.Also....Shane did not win this because of Tonys "might be,possibly,& what if " hand wraps not implemented....he won because he was bigger, better and stronger, period!Very much a shame to dismiss and cast aside a mans, fighter or no fighter, career accomplishments and character in its entirity based on allegations and at this point, inconclusive findings.
A man and those he chooses to surround himself with are responsible for thier actions. Not only inside of the ring but much more outside of it.But just take a breath already.

What kind of azz backwards 'god-think' is that ??? They
needed to be brought down to earth?Margarito was far from being overhyped compared to some of the stuff in the mainstream. The man earned whatever praise he got,no silver spoons,no darling multi million dollar guarentees. Some of these spoiled unproven up & comers today act as if they are owed something and treated by the networks like them acheiving greatness is a foegone conclussion. Now that hype is blinding.
The man got KTFO,no need to stand on his fukking neck.
I agree, Tony always came to fight gave us what we want to see. Although limited movement and skill he made up for it with grit and chin, give him a break for second, see what happens.

I agree with every word of this. Anyone who says ODH was "never that good" or anything to that effect does not know jack shit about boxing. The same goes for Margarito, though obviously he's not on ODH's level (not that many are, there is no shame in that).
