Agreed Wright/Williams was a quality bout between two top quality fighters, nothing to criticize,
As for Arreola not much you can do about that but I cant give Chris too much credit for beating McCline, look at the shape Jameel was in, self admited he was retired and they offered him a decent payday that had a big reward and little risk

Re: Arum is a disgrace to boxing
This is not in defense of Arum for I generally consider promoters as a bunch of greedy pimps... Arum criticized Goosen promoted fights and we realized he has some good points and also just being an a$$ on some points...
But to be fair, Arum has some of the best boxers around and promoted some of the great cards in recent memories... Just like this weekend's fight between Donaire-Martinez and Viloria-Solis, it's a very good card but unfortunately HBO and Shotime didn't pick it up... Arum once again, come out on his own and offer this card to the American public as a PPV priced at $24.95 using his own resources...
Sometimes he's a "disgrace" and sometimes he does some good things for boxing...

i wouldn't say he's a disgrace, just at his age he does get a bit bitter at times, you gotta remember he is the founder of one of the oldest promotion companies to still be running, and younger guys like Goosen and GBP are making a lot of noise, plus a lot of Arums biggest names have either left him or retired, or both, such as Morales, Oscar De La Hoya, and Floyd Mayweather Jr., he still puts on great cards, and knows what fans want, and gotta give him credit for going out of his way most of the times to get the biggest fights made, DLH/Pacquiao and Pacquiao/Hatton are 2 good examples
