Yeah that's about the right idea I think. There was so little to seperate the two before Pac beat Hatton, both of their fights were razor thin and could ave gone the other way, both racked up two awesome wins/performances after they rematched. Pac smashing Hatton gives him the edge at this point, but IF Marquez beat Mayweather it would be one of the greater wins in recent boxing history imo, all things considered. No chance that Pac beating Hatton was nearly as impressive. All in all it's to subjective in the first place, they are both just awesome fighters with different strengths. I tend to think along the lines that Manny just has nightmares with Marquez' style, but otherwise is the better athlete who would likely perform better against an equal array of opposition. But IF Marquez beat Floyd, that's kind of shot to bits. Kind of a shame that if Marquez were to lose this fight by a good margin we'll likely never see a rubber match with Manny, just one of the many reasons the win over Floyd would be so epic.Quote:
