Yes
but what if DLH is facing someone as slow as him that night? Pac magnified the 'weight' bull shit because of his speed. Remember he's a fethaerweight and at Featherweight he was fast. a fast featherweight at Welterweight? just imagine how frustrating that be for an average speedster like DLH.

Before those fights the name DLH and Hatton doesnt connote negative impression on fighters.
Can Cotto really say he can beat DLH and Hatton easily?
after the Cotto fight the next Pacquiao opponent wil say
"Im not DLH, Hatton or Cotto. im the Walrus!" ;D
I was impressed by Pacquiao's victories over ODH and Hatton, though I did feel he would win both, but do you honestly think Cotto wouldn't handle either one of them in the same situation?
Mate
Oscar Dela was not not at his best but he will not lose to Cotto the way he lost to Pacquiao. Dela Hoya would land a few left hooks because cotto is not as slippery as pacquiao. and landing a few left hooks could mean a LOT in a fight im sure you'll agree.
on Hatton. same case, you think Hatton will get caught by right hooks a few seconds into the fight againts Cotto? If you look at the phase of PAC-Hatton. very few can keep up with that and Hatton got sparked because he's so aggressive and Pac is accustomed to that phase. in Cotto Hatton got a target that he can actually hit.
My answer is Cotto wouldn't handle either one of them in the same situation. 50/50 on both fights.
I can understand the logic behind ODH providing a reasonable test for Cotto, though I disagree with it. However, Cotto would absolutely murder Hatton. It might not end as quickly as the Pacquiao fight but the result would be the same.

I think Cotto ends up with the victory too, At 147 that is but @140 where Pac-Hatton took place. Hatton has more than a fair chance.
Re: Pacquiao: Mayweather Doesn't Want to Fight
Just like what I said before, I believe Mayweather doesn't want anything to do with Pacquaio.
Pac never underestimated Cotto so what he's saying is simply how he feels about Mayweather. He wants Mayweather to fight him but it seems MAyweather does not want to take the risk.
Mayweather vs Pac is supposed to be the biggest fight of the decade and people naturally would talk about that so if Pac is talking about Mayweather, he's definitely not disrespecting Cotto.

I think a big part of the motivation for PBF to get out of retirement is Pacquaio.
If Pac beats Cotto. it will surely happen.

Re: Pacquiao: Mayweather Doesn't Want to Fight
It didn't say that Pacquiao called a bunch of camera's over to him so that he could start blabbing on about Mayweather while he's still got Cotto to go through...
Clearly he was asked about the fight and then they quoted him saying "I don't think it will happen"...
Then they go on saying Pacquiao says Mayweather is all about the business and doesn't care about entertainment value.. Well if he actually said that, they would have quoted him...
Can anyone actually hear Manny standing there saying Mayweather only cares about money and business and not his fans??
Damn, i sound like i'm nut hugging.... Just silly how a big discussion starts based on a context that didn't even occur...
Personally I think Mayweather would love this fight and would take it on.. Just Mayweather is not stupid and isn't going to call out a figher who might lose... He'll wait for the winner and then panzy on for months and months until we are all fed up with his crap, then the fight will be announced..
But how many fights has mayweather ever considered be "want"...
Re: Pacquiao: Mayweather Doesn't Want to Fight
I'm a Manny fan but I'm not delusional. Mayweather doesn't want it??? He saw what he did to his equal(JMM). Mayweather won every minute of every round. Pac is stupid for even saying that. Nobody who keeps it real will believe that for even a second. Mosley is closer to a problem but Pac is not even a small problem to Mayweather. I never seen Pac talk out of his a## but he has now officially done that. If this is not a money move than Pac is the dumbest fighter today. I'm am still a Manny fan but this kind of talk makes me feel stupider for this kind of talk. I'm just a guy who keeps it honest no matter what. I like Pac more than PBF but I do not think he has a chance against Mayweather. Even if he did have a chance...Mayweather doesn't want???:LOLATYOU:

When were you a Manny fan? I thought you were a Mayweather fan based on your past postings?
Re: Pacquiao: Mayweather Doesn't Want to Fight
I think Mayweather would take this fight. If Pac beats Cotto then its the biggest money fight out there, so if PBF treats boxing as a business, his motive would be to make as much money as possible, meaning using that logic to say he doens't want to fight Pac doesn't make sense. The only reason this doesn't happen is if both fighters make ridiculous demands about money, which will likely happen IMO
