so now that he dealt with Valuev, whats gonna be the excuse when either Wlad or Vitali KO Haye?
Haye don't do excuses. ;)

They do in boxing. ;)
To Amat's point though if someone thought Froch won, the same logic applies to Valuev winning.
if someone thought Dirrell won, the same logic applies to Haye winning.

No it's different. I thought Dirrell won but thought Haye won this fight.
Dirrell gave off the AURA of a loser (by moaning, holding, jumping on the floor, looking like he doesn't want to fight) - which can clearly have an effect on the judges.
Haye acted like the BOSS the whole fight. It wasn't impressive, but clear who the superior fighter was.

agree, i can't stand Haye and from what i've seen of the fight he looked like the winner, but he didn't look impressive at all, and i don't really think he's anywhere close to living up to the hype

I didn't get Haye being the boss at all except for a few rounds.
His output was definately not that of a boss. Dirrell landed plenty
more PUNCHES, regardless of body language, which in fairness
should have an impact on the judges as well.

He fought the fight he thought he needed to. You will not see him fight like that again believe me. I think he will get some much needed experience now though against Ruiz and Holyfield. Don't know which way I will go if he does fight Holyfield, Evander is my fave ever HW but I want Haye to do well and I think Holyfield should have retired after the Lewis fights, and probably gone down as the 3rd greatest ever HW.

Well at least the judges got it right this time ;)

Except the one about his hand going in the 2nd round to try and explain away his woeful performance? Looking forward to the X-ray...
Nope, Haye DOES do excuses...

What exactly would YOU have done differently? The answer, regardless, is: "NO, YOU WOULD NOT".
Haye fought a brilliant fight. Boxing is only entertainment if you buy the bullcrap the promoters want you to expect... they don't have to get in the ring either. Look at the challenge presented and enjoy the performance instead of thinking you are going to watch a Valuev fight and be entertained.
He could have feinted and stuck the jab in the body more often... but that's nitpicking.
