I think the damage has already been done.

Thats a brilliant tactical move. It makes him appear eager to fight while calling Pacman's bluff...that the reason he doesn't want to sign is because the USADA is biased. All he's left with now is the far-fetched notion that taking blood will weaken him...an assertion unconvincing even if true, since presumably PBF would be subject to the same weakening.
I don't think Pacs on roids; I think he's clean and reacting emotionally to his character being questioned. PBF has played him. The great tactician set a trap designed to unnerve the enemy. After all, when the enemy is annoyed irritate him further, Sun Tzu informed us. PBF managed to make the clean but hapless Pac behave exactly how a dirty fighter would under the same circumstances. Brilliant psychological warfare.
It is a brilliant move. Pac has all but lost this fight. I at least gave Pac a decent chance, now I think he has no chance. Mayweather has proven he is mentally tougher than Pac and can get under his skin. And that's already half the battle won right there. And I agree, the Art of War is a brilliant military book.
Im with you two on this!
Kostya explained all this stuff once, how he finds out everything there is to know about his opponent so if required he can ask a personal question in order to derail them totally if they go on a personal attack in public.
I remember he turned around to Judah when he was throwing shit and asked him "How is your new born daughter "insert her name" getting on?
It blew Judah away,it was like pulling a fuse out of a bomb and dropping it in water.
Kostya knew he had the better of him mentally then.
Re: Mayweather Camp alters stance on blood testing
glad i'm back on...
great post!
Thx for the insights. I believe both aspects are true-he is conducting mental warfare, but the other reveals something very dark about our beloved sport.
If you were going to come into a fight clean ANYWAY, and you were asked to do random testing, why would that be a problem? Please add to this the FACT that both figthers would receive at least $24 mil and upwards of $40 mil EACH for the fight...
**Can anyone on this post honestly say that they would turn down $20+ mil to do something that would confirm your innocence?**
Could the sport handle him popping positive? Would they actually allow it to be known to the general public?

You dont deserve to post in here you fucking moron. Maybe
you do eat rats. Pac doe'snt eat rats. Pac eats luxurious buffets with the best chefs in my country something you can only dream about. Now
eat that moron.
You're the type of guy that will support Pacquiao cheating or not cheating. He's lucky to have fans like you. Everyone is a little biased on this testing subject one way or the other, but you're EXTREMELY biased. I bet you Manny is the only boxer you follow or even know. That's no problem but you're delusional and can't be reasoned with. I like Manny but the prevailing thought in this forum and around boxing is simple "why can't Manny just take some blood tests for a 40 Million dollar payday?" Why don't you ask yourself that question and come up with an answer that doesn't involve Manny eating luxurious buffets or Manny being a God.

What are you talking about? They are still asking for random drug tests
i saw this headline "golden boy backing off usada for mayweather-pacquiao". this could mean olympic style drug testing is scrapped for this fight
No that means Pacquiaos camp didn't want to use the USADA because of their ties with GBP specifically ODLH. So the Mayweather camp offered yet ANOTHER concession in their saying they didn't care WHO took the test, as long as the test was done. With the Mayweather camp giving so much up in negotiations it's amazing Pac doesn't want to prove definitively his innocence to make 40 million dollars.

Exactly - and if I'm Mayweather, I would now conceed to Pac. Tell him it's ok and that a simple urine test will suffice. This leaves the question mark hanging over Pac's head right before Mayweather starches him on fight night. It really is a win-win for Floyd. If he loses, he got beat by a chemically enhanced machine..if he wins, he beat the modern day Henry Armstrong on drugs! Which will really fuel his argument for being one of, if not, the best ever. Can you imagine how nauseating he will become for some people if he wins? Win/Win Floyd

Nothing outrageous at random drug testing and this style testing should be implemented throughout the sport!!!!
It or any other test just should not be something allowed for fighters to demand for their own personal assurance...
I could be wrong but has Floyd ecer stated he would like to see this implemented in the sport as a whole? If so hats off to him....
I still wonder if this whole thing of not testing is a game by the Pacquiao camp? not saying it is but wondering if so.....
I wonder if this is a way for the Pacquiao camp to see how bad Mayweather wants this fight...
In truth Mayweather wanting this fight is not even an issue he NEEDS this fight...
Shame the whole thing has turned into a circus really everyone suffers

That's the truth, regardless of what happens I hope we see them face off in the ring as opposed to the courtroom.

Good you are back.
Mate if Floyd knew Pac had stained underwear hanging on the line he would find a way of telling the world how his are clean.
We'll end up knowing one way or another.

Thats very true I hope not too. If the circus stays in the ring it will be standing room only, same in every pub and club the world over.
A circus is nothing without the crowd. This could work out well $.

agreed, I mean whatever happened to the days where there were no crazy demands on fines for every pound over, demands on drug testing etc...when fighters just fought, promotional teams made the terms and the commissions took care of the testing etc?
I know so many have dropped the ball on things so there is reason not to trust these commissions to make a true find on things but why can't these discussions be made behind close doors if demands made?
It ruins our sport as a whole making it look silly in the media.....
It is no wonder why so many people claim boxing is dieing
Re: Mayweather Camp alters stance on blood testing
For all of the people who were quick to yell "coward" when Floyd made the request - of the two boxers, who seems to want this fight more?
(not to mention wants the fight CLEAN)

I agree with you in that these talks should've happened within the corrupt industry a long time ago. Although, on the positive side, if anything good comes out of this sh*t-storm, it'll be that random testing is used more frequently, and hopefully becomes the norm in all high-level professional bouts. The industry needs that change even more than MWvsPac. I'm sick of wondering if the best fighter is just the best cheater.
