Mayweather was totally in a different league and everytime Shane went near him (after the 2nd round) he got battered with super fast counters.
Floyd then started going after him and battered him silly for 8 rounds.
That was the best i've seen Mayweather.
Aggressive all night and came back like a wounded Lion after he took a heavy shot in the 2nd.
Floyd v Manny is gonna be one of the greatest fights of all time.
FACT!
If it ever comes...and that's a big IF. I saw ~ 2min of the fight over a shitty stream, so I can't comment on the actual fight. However, Mayweather always gets the job done. RJJ always got the job done, too. That is, until father time caught up with him, and his chin was exposed for what it was: porcelain.
Just want someone out there to teach this guy a bit of humility. Unfortunately, Pacquiao has become a delusional jackass running for political office and setting aside the biggest 147lb fight of the millennium - shameful.
Never forget boxing is about the dollar as much as sport , the delaying of Pac v Floyd could easily have been mutually agreed/stalled to make even more money.

From peleanoticias:
"After the fight, Mayweather said he would not fight Pacquiao unless Pacquiao agrees to blood testing."
;D;D;D;D;D;D;D:rolleyes:

But the greatest WW ever ?
No way.
I think Pernell Whitaker, a prime Meldrick Taylor and Julio Caesar Chavez would give Floyd all he could handle.
I mean Jose Luis Castillo did beat Floyd after all.
As some people choose to forget.
And yeah Mosley looked to give up on himself after about the 6th or 7th round.
He wouldn't even throw hard punches anymore.
I honestly don't think Chavez would win a single round against Floyd. He'd just pot shotted and embarrassed for as long as he wanted to continue.
Flody is well ahead of him imo.
And Floyd beats Pernell and Meldrick Taylor too. Pernell was a great fighter, but he was no Floyd.
Chavez's SPARRING PARTNER beat Floyd Mayweather.
So I'd give the guy a fair chance Bilbo.
Floyd looked great tonight, no doubt about it.
But I think people tend to overrate current fighters a bit too much.
Evey generation of boxing fans does. Its only natural.
Floyd is a great fighter, but you're right that people tend to overrate current fighters. Hell some people think Floyd would beat Duran at 135 and 147 easy. And there is even a long time member here who thinks Floyd could beat a Marvin Hagler at 160 in 15 rounds, easily.

Maybe you have a point. But I really think that Mayweather knows that that's the only REAL THREAT; Pacquiao, that is.

I just wonder how much of a threat Pac would be to Mayweather. I think Mayweather dominates Pacman. Also, Floyd wonders why he doesnt get any respect, well there is no real evidence that Pac is taking any kind of drugs other than the crack smoking tag team of Floyd sr and roger talking of some drugs used in the Philipine army. So just fight Pac, all of this stalling does lead some to believe Floyd is scared of Pac. Pac is too much of a brawler and Floyd will pot shot and pick him apart for easy decision win.
