I've said it before and I def still believe it now, Mayweather would beat Pacquaio.

But the greatest WW ever ?

    No way.

I think Pernell Whitaker, a prime Meldrick Taylor and Julio Caesar Chavez would give Floyd all he could handle.

I mean Jose Luis Castillo did beat Floyd after all.

As some people choose to forget.

And yeah Mosley looked to give up on himself after about the 6th or 7th round.

He wouldn't even throw hard punches anymore.
I honestly don't think Chavez would win a single round against Floyd. He'd just pot shotted and embarrassed for as long as he wanted to continue.

Flody is well ahead of him imo.

And Floyd beats Pernell and Meldrick Taylor too. Pernell was a great fighter, but he was no Floyd.
Chavez's SPARRING PARTNER beat Floyd Mayweather.

So I'd give the guy a fair chance Bilbo.

Floyd looked great tonight, no doubt about it.

But I think people tend to overrate current fighters a bit too much.

Evey generation of boxing fans does. Its only natural.
Floyd is a great fighter, but you're right that people tend to overrate current fighters. Hell some people think Floyd would beat Duran at 135 and 147 easy. And there is even a long time member here who thinks Floyd could beat a Marvin Hagler at 160 in 15 rounds, easily.

    Hagler over 15 rounds?
