Anthony Small on muslim protest shouting to soldiers " Murderers, Child Killers!!!!!"

Maybe if those countries could stop fighting with different cultures and neighbouring countries like thick inbreds and causing wars then the allied forces wouldnt have to go over there to fight them.

I agree with Ono and Oggie really. The right to freedom of speech extends to all, not only to those who have the same opinion as you.

The fact we alllow our citizens to protest things is fundamentally important to our democracy. I certainly don't want to live in a nation where freedom of speech is outlawed.

I do think both the UK and US use imagery of the heroic and brave soldier dying to defend our lands as a kind of emotional shield to deflect any and all criticism of our government's actions.

I'm not saying that Small was right to protest but I do think we as a nation are right to allow him.

The one thing that really annoys me in England is this 'Back our Boys' at any cost mentality that the press have instilled into the idiots.

Makes me proud to know theres fans/people who can think from both sides of an event and see both sides of a point of view.

Me, like you, think this guy has every right to voice his opinion.

Im not sure if he is backing the act of terrorism or not.

I dont back terrorism either and I dont back the reasons why (our three/four collective governments) are the self proclaimed world sheriffs and we pay for accidental murders out of taxes.

I do back the fact that we have to stop these fools in their tracks somehow: because it has now gone too far and cannot be stopped because we have two different excuses from two different sides both with the same eventual agenda one is open one is secretive.

I take great offense that anyone claims God (The loving Creator God) would be behind death and destruction of innocents or that some God is against Gods own gift of total free will decisions for all of mankind to do as he will and ascend or descend at his own collective rate (as is what is occurring on all levels.)

I take great offense that both sides claim some religious righteousness over the other side.

Makes the worlds man made religions all the more false to me and living proof that it has many lost sheep within its ranks and both major sides are to be to be avoided at all costs if your individual sanity is to be guarded.


At the moment we have Big businessmen/world leaders backed by the four legs of Christianity to get the public emotionally involved:
verses
Big oil barons, overlords,dictators etc backed by the other large religion to get their own public emotionally involved.

One fights one way for one reason (world domination through rules and religion).

The other fights another way for one reason (world domination through control of energy distribution).

Money is also just an exchange of energy btw ;).

All freedom of speach means is that Anthony Small is not breaking any laws by doing this. There are other freedoms too, like the freedom to judge him as an asshole. He's obviously an idiot and an ass, that much is clear no matter what supposed cause he is fighting for. If someone had a sign that said all blacks go to hell, all doctors go to hell, etc. then yea he would be allowed to have that sign but you also are allowed to label him an idiot. He is obviously, political leanings aside.

Just doing this for attention. Isn't he the guy who took his nickname from Sugar Ray, Jones and Ali? Like Sugar Ray Clay Jones Jr. or something? I'm positive it is and if it is then he shouldn't really be taken seriously here.

I'm sure someone (bilbo) will correct me but do Christians believe everyone - regardless of sharing religios belief is a 'brother and sister'. I seem to remember from Sunday school that this was the case.

I think the guys who are using the Freedom of Speech reference are merely playing devil's advocate. I certainly am anyway, in the sense that this argument has been brought up a fair few times on various other threads - The Cinco De Mayo one for example, where it was pointed out to me and Bilbo that the American kids were well within their rights to do what they did, as they were exercising their right to Freedom of Speech.

BTW I'm not in agreement with the war but he is obviously a complete fucken retard with a one sided understanding of what this conflict even is. There is a rational way to oppose the war and an irrational way, this is irrational. His 'brothers and sisters' are also being murdered by thousands of his fellow Muslims but he would never hold a sign saying 'all Muslims go to hell' or 'all Sunni go to hell', he's a fucken idiot plain and simple. Plus, it's obvious that he's just doing this for attention don't you think?

Also, I'll defend a military man's honor to my death unless they are clearly out of line. None of us in our PC world can possibly relate to going from the farms of Iowa or the pubs (lol) of England to being thrust into the situation the soldiers are in now. It's sad because many are young enough to where there time in Iraq is a forming experience in their life and it becomes part of who they are. Small is just retarded and looking for attention.
