I think even now and as impressive as Froch has been, that Calzaghe is just too good. Froch is borderline elite, but Calzaghe for me was elite.
Different leagues. Even now Calzaghe would find a way to compensate for any loss of speed/stamina.

Calzaghe would have had the measure of Froch, whether it be prime for prime, or when it was mooted about 2.5 years ago.
Froch would have need to use his jab & box to stand any chance against Calzaghe & back in 2008, he hadn't learnt to do that.
Even then, he probably would have been too slow to do it anyway.
If we're talking about now, the fight would be a farce & should not happen anyway.
