Australians seemed really layed back, I was watching a documentary about the horrible flooding you had there, and was impressed at how much unity there was among the people living there.
America has a somewhat special set of circumstances in regards to it being "multi-cultural", that's hard for people in other countries to understand. If you don't live in the Southern U.S. for example, and all you know is what you read about or see in the media, then you have no idea what actually goes on here.
Yeah most people helped out. We have some assholes out here too but they are just the Americans we have here.
:) Im kidding, we have thieves and looters here too as many as you have per capita but they are a touch scared to just march in on a situation like that as they would get hounded for the rest of their lives and have to move out of their own homes.
